- Hey, Luda!" I said. "Have you noticed what you've done? Even while introducing us, you caused the lady feel reluctant about me. What do you mean... am I a man eater? Ms. Maral, don't listen to her! Because she can't dominate me she's about to explode of anger. That's why she's talking like that."
Luda smiled and looking at the two of us meaningfully she said:
- I'm not about to expload at all. If I was going to be angry, or I would like to scare Maral about you; would I seat you next to each other? Meaning, two single persons?"... We both got her message. I laughed instinctively. Maral smiled too and threatening Luda with her index finger she said:
- I'll show you later!"
Luda, was appearing in the boss role not only in the department, but here too. She called the waitress that was serving our table and looking at Shahid and me she said:
- Misters! Before you came we have already given our orders for food. What will you eat, please say!"
While we were giving our orders, the music program had begun. The music group of Asanbay Café, formed of two girls and two men, was one of the best groups in Bishkek.
Because I came here at least once a month I became quite close to the group members. Timur, Galina and Victoria, were quite successfull with interpreting Russian and English songs. As for Aslan, who was an Uzbek, he was an expert saxophonist. All the four musicians were educated: Timur and Aslan were music school graduates; and the girls were about to graduate this year. When comparing them to the untalented, who became popular in Turkey without any background, their quality was being noticed immediately.

Arthur, stop being sad/upset, he snaps even at a detective who opposes him with a question like that

it should be "sevgilerle"- with love (usually written at the end of a letter/message)

PART 55

Luda laughed one of her sweet loud laughters and said:
- Oh mr. Fatih! It's a good thing that you're not replying. If only you did reply, what would become of us?
Then she looked into my eyes and continued, showing the two chairs near her:
- Please, sit here. We reserved these for you.
I engaged my arms into Shahid's and pushing him gently I ensured that he would be sitting on the chair right next to Luda. And I sat next to him. And right next to me was sitting, a young and rather beautiful Kyrgyz lady I haven't seen before. My glance at her didn't escape Luda's eyes. Reaching out from Shahid's side she said:
- Mr. Fatih! I'll introduce you. Maral... My childhood friend. Also we studied in University together. After that she married an American teacher and went to America. She made her high (master?) and doctorate degrees on the subject of American culture. Unfortunately, she lost her husband last year. It's been one month since she's come back to Kyrgyzstan. And this week she started to work in our university.
Then turning to Ms. Maral:
- My dear Maral! Mr. Fatih is from Turkey. He is a lecturer here in Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University and in our university. In ours he's teaching Turkish. I advice you not to be fooled by his charming appearance. He has a very sharp tongue and you need to speak carefully in front of him. Otherwise he'll make you regret for what you said and what you're going to say"... saying that she completed her words.
Ms. Maral answered Luda smiling:
- Yes! A little while ago I witnessed that".
When introducing us politely, she's done what she had to do to me!

I found that too, so I think it depends on context and on how it meant to be written-
"söz gelecem" or: "söz, gelecem"

and:
söz gelecem - I promise I will come

PART 54

First the fat German teacher Maria attacked:
- They sure know that this day is our day... that's why they came especially late!
Tuila Huan from Korea, continued from the same place stressing the situation:
- Do you mean to say, that they are late to show that they don't have respect for us and for our "Women's Day"?
Shahid tried to object to these words, in vain...
The Chinese teacher Lien Yun, waiting with her bow stretched, hurled her arrow mercilessly:
- Aren't both these two Turk my friends? In their culture women are considered second class. For that reason, their behavior is normal for them. I'm not angry with them because I understand them.
I couldn't stand it any more. In addition Chinese Lien, had exceeded courtesy boundaries:
- Dear ladies! Before answering your provocations- especially yours miss Lien- I congratulate your "Women's Day". Thanks God that He created the womenkind and completed humanity with you. If you didn't exist, what would we men do? Without your whims, unnecessary quarrels, complaints end endless requests, how would we color our lives? It's because I think that, in spite all of your shortcomings (negativities), I love you and I'm not responding to the assault you made just now..." I said.

thanks Dilara, I'm determined to improve my Turkish and translating the story helps, but I work on it every day (with a dictionary and everything), it's not that my Turkish is that good...
