I'm not sure about the secret hand shake but they do have a secret way for recognizing if another man (yes, just men) is a Mason, they have special clothing which they wear in their meetings and they have a hierarchy of ranks.

first half of 5th part:

While I was preparing answers for them, I was also curious about when will the youngest, serious mannered and short teacher of Foreign Languages Depatment, the Japanese Hakiko Tosumoto and the persian teacher, my friend Mr. Shahid will intervene in the conversation. without needing for me to wait much, Ms. Hakiko talked:
- The easiest and shortest way to make Mr. Fatih to shut up is not to pay attention to him. Please leave him on his own...

I'm trying the whole 4th part:

I couldn't stop myself from not answering that provocation back and said:
- I see that at the end of the efforts (?)I've entered the agenda of the Foreign Languages Department teachers' my friends..."
And without giving any of them a chance to reply I continued my speech:
- I think that for three times a week, when the classes here are over, you are waiting for these moments of half an hour of happiness I'm giving you yearningly!
At the window area, the old German teacher Maria, who was collecting her books from the table, laughed loudly while pressing her fat fingers on her jumping belly and said with her bad English:
- My God! How full of yourself you are Mr. Fatih! I've really never met anyone like you!
I, pointing at her said:
- Do you see Maria? You've personally admitted. I am a unique person and with my existence the American University is turning meaningful.
