For instance, I know that "köşeyi dönmek" means more than just "to turn the corner." It means to make good, to attain what you are seeking, yes? But I feel like the literal meaning works better here. What do you think? And in the first line of the song, I know from the dictionary that "bol keseden atmak" means "to make extravagant promises, to scatter promises around."
