I dont understand what is so special about Turkish dramas. What is the difference? When I was a teenager there were Brazillian dramas on Turkish tv channels and people were watching them.And all of a sudden a drama craziness started in Turkey. I think the start of this craziness was Asmalı Konak.

Here is what I read about love in a novel I have just finished. I dont know if it is right or wrong. But it sounds logical: 

Aşk şehvetin estetik seklidir.

Love is the aesthetic form of lust.

Aşkın şehvetle aynı şey olduğunun kesin bir delili de vuslattan sonra ikisinin de sönmesidir.

The certain proof of being lust and love the same thing is after union they both die down.

Maybe they are. But they cant always write good scripts every week for a 90 minute tv series for a 40 episode season. This is completely madness. I hope one day they will shoot a 30 minute tv series in Turkey. I want to be hopeful.
