Correct my grammar if its wrong?

Should it be Senin Yardimin için?
or Senin Yardım için?

What about"erkek". Is that only used in the third person?

I have wondered whether "erkek" = "dude", but most people on this forum can tell, my experience with actual conversation is small.

You can refer to a group of young men (at a distance) as
"onlar erkeklar var" (or onlar erkek var?)

It a line from an "özlem Tekin" song Kaf dağı.

I know my literal: "To sow the Lion in the mouth" doesn't capture the meaning. I thing the song is about hardships and struggles. PLease comment or give some other examples.

Teşkkürler

How to say that in English ?

Eşeğe altın semer de vursalar eşek gene eşektir.

I will try:

I can't find turkish definitions for "gene", is it related to genış?

I assumed "vursalar" is the conditional form of "vurmak", to to beat or whip. So then the whole quote goes:

A donkey with a gold saddle when you whip it (try to make it go, it is still a donkey.

el = hand

sağ= right

lik= state of condition

I think it "right handed ness" or some variation of those ideas. In turkish sağ= right also carries connotations of strong or correct.

I hope a native speaker can clarify this.

This was helpful. I slowly translated it but I didn't understand it completely. Thank you to sunflowerseed.

You mean, you didn't understand my translation.
Tell me those sentences that you couldn't get.
I will check it again.

But if you couldn't get the message out of the story then try to translate this.

Eşeğe altın semer de vursalar eşek gene eşektir.

Very funny.

My translation was not as good as yours. I will use your translation to help me understand the story.
