I have a boyfriend (or male friend) that I love and appreciate very much

2. getirmek istiyorum acilen

ben hastayım = I am sick

doktora gidiyorum = I am going to the doctor

yarın sabah burada mısın? = Are you there tomorrow morning?

Just to simplify it slightly Teach Yourself Turkish says "the -mişti tense of a verb has nothing to do with the -miş tense. It does not mean ´apparently´ or ´reportedly´.Instead,it is the equivalent of saying ´had done´ in English. ie the ´past perfect tense´

But what tunci and scalpel said stands.
