This book, recommended and used by many of us, has been re-released and re-named COMPLETE TURKISH.

Still under the ´Teach Yourself´ banner it is the same book with a different cover.

(I bought it anyway because my old one was falling to pieces)

Is Merve a place? If so tomac´s translation is what we would say in English.

Merve is a girl´s name I think.

In that case it should be I´m at Merve´s  implying at her house or something.

We would say either ´have gone´ or ´went´ so the original translation is perfectly fine.

Quoting Inscrutable

what does the suffix -za mean ? Thank you

-za is not the suffix.

babaniz (your father) a (to )   babaniza=to your father.

(The object of the verb soylemek takes the e/a (to) suffix.)

Isn´t it ´if you can watch from afar the love of others and smile.......´  ?

(because of the ip suffix on izle)

I´ve travelled on overnight sleepers several times between Afyon and Istanbul and Ankara and Istanbul. We had 2 person compartments which were lovely and comfortable with a wash hand basin, fridge and cupboard and big comfy seats that converted into bunk beds. If you´re not in a hurry it´s a very pleasant way to travel.
