I hate the immigration in the uk. I have been with my turkish husband for 4 years, and married for 1year 2months.
We have fought for 3 years for him to come to england, so we can be a family. We have been treated worse than a convict, We have to show all our private msn chat, emails, letters, everything. And every time we apply we get refused, How can a person who has never me us, decide if we do or dont love each other, its a dissgrace,I hate the system,But have no other choice but to keep applying and appealing, so i can be with my husband.

keep trying i know its hard.
It took me and my husband 3 attempts before we finally got accepted and the interveiws were horrendous. They were so rude at the british embassy in turkey, to me also. We felt like criminals and not successful business people! I hate the system also..it seems to let in the bad and keep out the good!

Dont blame the "system" or the government. Blame the 570,000 illegal immigrants living in the UK who arrive with tourist visas and "disappear". Blame the "marriage for visa" immigrants. Blame the false asylum seekers. This is not a facist opinion and I embrace a multi-cultural society, but the fact is that illegal immigration earns in millions of pounds to crime/drug organisations.

If the British Embassy was rude or harsh, its because (rather like us at TC) they see thousands of Dudus every day.....

If none of the above existed, it would be MUCH easier for you to "import" your men to this country

I am not entirely sure it is the right perspective actually!!
A few example:
Most criminals are black, police does not have right to treat treat them 'they are guilty until it is proven innocent'. do they?

All IRA militants are Irish, you cant treat all Irish as criminals because of IRA.

You cant say to a mistreated black guy 'oh you blame the black criminals for your treatment' or to an Irish guy 'you blame IRA mate'. can you?

Mistreatment is mistreatment. Racism is racism under any circumstances.
I cant see any excuse or justification I am afraid!!

f

What?????

This has nothing to do with racism!! You can't see any excuse for what? For having certain requirements for entry to a country? If you enter a country with no money, no work training, no qualifications, no ability to claim for benefits - what are you likely to do? You will commit crime!!!

Unfortunately the statistics speak for themselves!

I agree when you are talking about police harassment. However with regard to immigation, they have to limit the numbers of people who come. They do! Its a fact!

What do you suggest. We already have a housing shortage, lack of funding for healthcare, education - the list goes on. The governement have now had to allow building on protected green field sites....there is NOT ENOUGH ROOM! Even if they double our tax!!!!

When many of the immigrants in a country don't want to adjust themselves to the dominant culture, don't speak the language even after 20 years, are without any diploma, are more or less illiterate, who's to blame that the governments of such a country sets new demands for settling? Tell me, the handsom, I'm curious.

Ok..
May be racism is nothing to do with it. But I definitely felt it during my interview (years ago btw).
And everybody, who had the experience, is talking about very unkind treatment there.
And it is WRONG and I cant see the justification for it.

You cant turn and say to me 'they were right to treat you like a criminal' because of your imigration problem.
Nobody has right to treat me as if I am a criminal.
