And everybody, who had the experience, is talking about very unkind treatment there.

imagine the flood of immigration if they start treating good and granting visa to everyone

as aenigma have already said: they see those dudus everyday, and are possibly fed up.

treating good means granting visa? phew!!
lol

why do people expect of being treated good? why do you expect life being good or easy? when you apply to places like UK or USA you should have been aware of all that harsh treatment! why do you moan about that?
what did you expect from them? that they would stroke on your head serve you coffee and express their happiness homing a handsome turk?
put yourself into their shoes. if theres an immgration flood into my country i would definetly be not happy.
i am not justifying the mistreatment, but you are an adult not mamas boy, to understand it.

ha ha..

lol what a remarkable way to look at life, if you are treated unjustly, shrug it off and say doesnt matter because I'm an adult now I'm starting to understand you a bit more now!! lol

AEnigma, you dont have to be treated like a visa applicant is treated to understand that treatment is WRONG.
I dont want to say anything about 500 people a DAY! or making the figure higher or you are already a small country.
Can all those justify the mistreatment?

Yes, I completely agree. They have no right to treat you badly. Yes, they can ask personal questions, they SHOULD impose tough laws and tough requirements and make better judgment as to who is allowed to come in.

Aeni! Of course there IS a way to significantly reduce illegal immigration! You can limit tourist visas if the tourists don't look like they will go back, you can punish employers who employ illegal immigrants and lots of other things. Those illegal immigrants come here because they know they can make a good living here, that they can find a way to make money. They often have friends who tell them what to do. It's strange that you think that there is nothing that can be done. Is there really nothing that the government could have done to prevent islamic extremism in the UK? Of course there's a lot they could have done, if it wasn't for the stupid political games they are playing and started using some common sense and listening to people. Unfortunately, illegal immigration is also profitable for businesses! Again, the wrong people are punished!!!

Of course there is They should have listened to the majority of its own government, the opposition party and the population of the UK and NOT followed George Bush to Iraq.

How can we prevent Islamic extremism when they daily see pictures of innocent people being killed there?

Thehandsom, I agree with you that no-one should be bullied but demanding things for (semi)permanent settlement, asking very personal questions and/or proving your relation with someone is real, is in my opinion not bad.

If all immigrants had a real profession (from plummer to university lector), trying to speak the language asap and accept facts/customs are different, I think there would not be a problem. But unfortunately, that's a dream.

I can tell you from own practice: I have 65 students from several countries, living in the Netherlands for 5 up to 30 years and they STILL don't understand enough of the language to be self-supporting. Almost every week I need to tell them about our laws, our customs, the name of our capital and national hymne. Explain that honour-revenge, infibulation, attacking gays, sexism etc are prohibited and even after all these years they don't want to accept. I'm not a racist but I agree with my government that we don't need more of people like that. Is it coincidence that 95% of people with very different ideas are from a handful of countries? There are hardly any problems with immigrants from France, Spain, Australia, Canada or even China.

Oh my goodness, you are again being deterministic and decadent. How can they prevent islamic extremism? By having laws in their place. You can be angry about the war in Iraq but you are not allowed to preach hatred of the country that feeds you even though you don't work!!! These are two completely separate issues!

Actually you are - its called freedom of speech and democracy until you become a terrorist.

Catwoman you do make me laugh - the US has a HUGE problem with illegal immigrants. Why are you asking me why the UK don't limit visas etc? Both our countries have the same problem!
