Something like this:

´What do you think of the sanctions that we set against Israel? (Please as far as possible share your political opinions.)´

But don´t you think, Henry, that in

         ben inanmayı seçtim

the previous (inanmayı) modifies what comes later (seçtim) as usual and the predicate is in it neutral place in the end of the sentence? That makes ´I chose´. seçmek takes accusative object and that´s why the infinitive inanma- is decorated with the ending . This altogether makes

         ´I chose to believe/trust´.

Thread: influence of last consonant on dativ suffix of noun

I understand that these six that you mention are alternatives to choose from and the last consonant is mentioned as one of the correct answers, right?

Choosing the correct dative ending (a/e) in my opinion is a deal completely between the vowels and has nothing to do with the consonants of the noun stem. I guess what is ment here is the changes that often take place in the last consonant when a case ending is added, which means softening (çocuk > çocuğa) or voicing (ağaç > ağaca).

Don´t take this as an answer. I´m just a learner like you, deniz bakire. I´m just thinking with you.

Ah, the English sentence is careless (Finnish influence, we just drive anything that has wheels). Maybe it´s not drive and ride which are different but sürmek and binmek. One takes the vehicle as the direct object and the other is content with a dative complement. Perhaps this difference is the reason, who knows.

Besides, the moped here is not the usual object of riding. The fact that it was "ridden there and abandoned" in the course of the same action may change something.
