I have the same experience as sarıkedi: in Turkey, ALL my friends willingly discuss the topics that are so difficult to talk about here. It were topics they often talk about and also were very willing to explain to me as a foreigner. I dont get why it is so hard to talk about TURKEY here.

I also dont understand why people keep talking about members leaving? People, this is a WEBSİTE, not a lifetimesentence! If you're bored, or start to have other stuff to do, you simply go! Its not like we are not getting any new members these days. The flood of new members is still like it used to be. People come people go.

If you want to go, go. If you want to stay, then JOİN.

Quoting janissary:

to Deli kızın: if you dont take my bro to here I will be very glad. u do it all the time, I warned you many times

There is a difference here: your bro started this thread, are you actually saying I can never mention him anymore, not even in a conversation that is not directly directed at you? More important: your bro is around here to talk for himself The people you mention ARENT.

Quoting :

at least he defends his country againt ppl who always posts bad things about his own country.these ppl dont accept any criticises about their country..they try to hide their country's rubbish under carpet...

he is here coz he loves his country as I do.why other ppl here who keep insulting turks?if this is nationalism,I dont mind being nationalist.

+1.000.000

I cant believe you agree with this Keith. We know that Janis and Lapi are talking about me, thehandsom, catwoman, elisabeth amongst others. None of us have ever said that we dont accept critisicm about our own country. Actually we evaluate it all the time and say the things we dont like too. The difference is, that it isnt understood. When I post a video about Geert Wilders, everybody immediately thinks I am behind the content of the video and that I dont critizise what is going on in my own lands. Just to give an example, a million times I have said I dont agree with the content of that video, yet Lapinkulta pmd me to say I had no right to talk about religion because my country hates muslims

They dont read it when we critisize their country, nor do they read it when we praise what we love about theirs. They claim al we do is hate Turks, but it is them who says we do, not us.

Quoting thehandsom:

The point he was making was politically correct.
If you dont tell fascist that 'they are fascists', they will never know they are fascists.
will they?

You don't know since you didn't read it.

I quite like to know how insulting gernas's post was.
Anybody can tell us?

His type of language certainly crossed the line. Whether he had a point or not, is up to each member himself to judge, but if I were to judge for you, I think you'd say he had a point

Quoting incişka:

what do you think when first you get up?: will I be late if I sleep for 10 more minutes?

This is perfect! Sound so familiar too....
lol lol lol lol

I hate this habit. For me it usually results in preferring to sleep over my first lecture-class. Because I know that if I lay down ten more minutes, Ill definitely fall asleep. And I love the thought of that So I always make the wrong choice and I always feel guilty when I wake up and realize I had to be on the train an hour ago :-S

I feel as if 'neden' would be better than 'niçin'. Im not sure if I am right here, but I believe
- niçin to be: what for, with what purpose.
- neden to be: what from, what is the reason behind.

Not sure though
