Yes, but i would read it this way to understand:

Quoting erdinc:

Bira almam lazım.
I need to buy some beer.

-ma is also called the short infinitive.

Bira almam lazım = 'my buying' (of) beer is necessary. A kind of possesive-verb.

Quoting laura:

gunes kalbim = sun of my heart (I think I may be wrong here)

I thought that means

- Sun is in my heart

Quoting sophie:

I would be in peace with myself, cause I would have done everything possible to keep that realationship going...

This is definitely the most important!! I felt exactly the same, and Laura, you know it worked out for me. It's been better since i did that, because he's now convinced I want to go for it, but also that I am worth it, because of what i did for us. Not just for him or for me, but i did it for us.

I didn't have the money either, i used my dad's creditcard Had to pay back every single penny afterwards ofcourse.. but yes, it was definitely worth it. It won't be necessary anymore, but if it would, i would do it again.

Well,. we have a rolling r, a throat r and an english-like r.. it depends on which kinda dutch you speak.. I speak the 'dictionary dutch' (the common accepted perfect dutch), but my region is a bit 'poshy' so i used lots of english-r.

For example my name.. Esther.. in english this is pronounced much like.. Este/Esta but the way i say it has an R like 'reading'!! Kadir says it with the turkish R, which i really do like.

I think us dutch are lucky, we can twist our tongues usually in many ways to sound quite fine. it's just a pity not many dutch found out that they actually can

Ödev yapmam lazım

Is this a proper way of saying 'I have to do my homework' ?

or would that be

Ödev yapmalım

Or are they both completely wrong
