When is the best time to call him?

Ne zaman onu arayabilirim?

just a little correction: putting objective pronoun (onu) in the beginning of the sentence sounds nicer. (Onu ne zaman arayabilirim)

I am his girlfriend.

Ben onun kýzarkadaþým.

Ben .........................im

Ben (onun kýzarkadaþý)ým

Ben onun kýzarkadaþýyým

He was so excited to see you again.

Tekrar seni görmek için çok heyecanlýydý.

This is open the debate, but to me it is more proper to use göreceði...and objective pronoun (seni) should be put in the beginning of the sentence :

Seni tekrar görmek/göreceði için çok heyecanlýydý.

I wish you a nice afternoon/evening.´

Ýyi akþamlar.

or size iyi akþamlar diliyorum.

Thank you very much Upsy_Daisy.

Just a quick question, I was wondering about that "best time to" expression.

I thought maybe "en iyi arama zamaný" would be ok for "the best calling time", but I have a feeling that wasn´t correct.

What would be a good expression for "the best time to do something"?

Thanks

Thank you Marion and Falcetus for the clarification on that sentence.

Yeah, I didn´t think it meant "home" literally in this context, it wouldn´t make much sense. So it´s sounds like it says s/he is fighting with the family then.

Hey little friend. Everyone is ok. GelBoy is on top in 5 weeks. He won´t send you the bottle as it will be still open. My beating (or tattoo) looks big.

(Learned, I´d wait for corrections on this one, not 100% about it).

thx u

Forgive me but I don´t understand anything form what you´ve written. I don´t even have a tiny idea about what you wanted to say or what you tried to explain. Who knows and maybe you see fit to bring up the contents (the things that are inside?) here (not 100% sure about this sentence). In your own language and in a way that you will understand.

Ok, no problem. Nowadays I have some difficulties. I´m fighting with Ev (is Ev a name? it means home, but it doesn´t make sense to fight with the home) and those fights are at a pretty high level. The reason why I haven´t responded to your calls is that I´ve been busy. I hope you haven´t got angry ...

Anyway, I don´t want to bore you too much .. I think that you´re sleeping at this moment... Good sleep to you ..Sweet dreams..

Hi everybody, please could somebody translate the following please? I need to make a telephone call and need to know the correct ways to say::

´Hello is ... there please?

Merhaba, .... orada mý lütfen?

May I speak to...

.... ile konuþabilir miyim?

When is the best time to call him?

Ne zaman onu arayabilirim? En iyi arama zamaný nedir? (I´m not 100% sure about this one though)

Sorry to disturb you.

Rahatsiz ettiðim için özür dilerim.

I am his girlfriend. I love Turkish culture very much.

Ben onun kýzarkadaþým. Türk kültürünü çok seviyorum.

I hope to meet you someday, and I hope you are having a lovely time with him. He was so excited to see you again.

Bir gün seninle görüþeceðimi umuyorum ve onunla iyi vakit geçirdiðini umuyorum. Tekrar seni görmek için çok heyecanlýydý.

Please could you repeat that?

Lütfen, onu tekrar edebilir misin(iz)?

I wish you a nice afternoon/evening.´

Ýyi akþamlar.

These are simple phrases which I probably could manage myself but I need to be sure as don´t want to make a bad impression. Thank you very much everyone in advance.

Here´s a few quick ones from me. Wait for corrections though, I´m a learner as well.

hmmm, it`s only Dobrowskis who always talk about Vienna on tc. It certainly doesn`t have an important place in our lives. obsessed?<img src='/static/images/smileys//lol.gif' alt='lol'> (fast)

Indeed, it seems the Turks like to forget history .

Disclaimer:

The above is a sarcastic response for the sake of playful banter, which is no way reflects the opinions of the author of this post. It does NOT mean that the author if the post considers the Turks to be:

a) ignorant of history of their own country

b) ignorant of history of Europe and the world in general

c) purposefully manipulating historical facts

d) covering up facts and pretending they never happened

e) too pridefull to admit defeat

Also, the author of the post would like to state that the information on the Siege of Vienna was in no part provided and/or manipualted by the Christian Media.
