What kind of complaints/problems would you like to report? Nobody follows all the forum posts so that everyone´s questions can be answered. If you have a problem, you must email all the administrators. In regards to moderation, if you know a little bit about the history of this site and the issues we had in the past with forum moderation, you would know that it´s not easy to "moderate the right amount" and it´s always better to delete less then more.

What is wrong with being modereted? Please someone moderate me. I am an incorrigable masochist

I have complicated emotions. As a Turk I am proud of Fenerbahçe but I still want Galatasaray to be the only Uefa cup winner. I am ashamed of myself. I am too egoist

Çanakkale Türküsü

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOZK0cgit8c

Çanakkale içinde vurdular beni
Ölmeden mezara koydular beni
Of gençliğim eyvah

 They shot me in Dardanelles

They put me into grave before dying.

Pity my youth pity.

Çanakkale köprüsü dardır geçilmez
Al kan olmuş suları bir tas içilmez
Of gençliğim eyvah

Dardanelles bridge is narrow, it can´t be passed

Its water has turned to blood, even a bowl of it cant be drunk.

Pity my youth pity.

Çanakkale içinde aynalı çarşı
Anne ben gidiyorum düşmana karşı
Of gençliğim eyvah

There is a mirrored bazar in Dardanelles

Mother I go against enemy.

Pity my youth pity.

Çanakkale içinde bir dolu testi
Anneler babalar ümidi kesti
Of gençliğim eyvah

There are lots of jugs in Dardanelles

Parents gave up hope.

Pity my youth pity.

Çanakkale´den çıktım yan basa basa
Ciğerlerim çürüdü kan kusa kusa
Of gençliğim eyvah

I got out of Dardanelles walking sideways

My lungs have rotted throwing up blood.

Pity my youth pity.

Çanakkale içinde sıra söğütler
Altında yatıyor aslan yiğitler
Of gençliğim eyvah

There are row upon row of willows in Dardanelles

Many brave young men lie under them.

Pity my youth pity.

Çanakkale´den çıktım başım selamet
Anafarta´ya varmadan koptu kıyamet
Of gençliğim eyvah

I got out of Dardanelles safely

But without reaching Anafarta, hell broke loose

Pity my youth pity.

(-ın suffix may change to in, -un, -ün, -nın, -nin, -nun, -nün depending on *****)

Why is it sometimes you put the ´n´ before the rest of the suffix?

It functions as a buffer letter. Two vowels cant come together in Turkish. You cant say "arabaın" you must put n between vowels: arabanın

I thought when you poked me a few times you knew who I was?

Beni birkaç kez dürttüğünde benim kim olduğumu bildiğini zannettim.

You keep coming into my friends recommendations everytime I look for new friends so       I figured facebook was trying to tell me something

Arkadaş önerileri arasında sürekli çıkıyordun. Ben yeni arkadaşlar ararım. Bu yüzden Facebook´un bana bir şey söylemek istediğini düşündüm.

Where in ***** are you from? From what district?

*****´ın neresindensin? Hangi ilçesinden?

(-ın suffix may change to in, -un, -ün, -nın, -nin, -nun, -nün depending on *****)

Actually facebook was trying to say please leave me alone.

Need to say this to someone. Pretty much going to be the last thing ever said so want to get it right.

A tad personal.

If you wish to not speak to me anymore, then say so. I am not a child, i am a human and i have feelings. These mind games are rediculous and the words you said to me were lies. You asked me to trust you and i did, just to be fooled. Be an adult and be honest.

How can you get this meaning from these words, gokuyum? Could it be bugünkü aklım?

Why not? İkicihan´s translation is more literal. I dont think there is a big difference in meaning.
