Excuse me, I am a good friend of ****´s and the way you are treating her at the moment is totally wrong. You are blaming her that is something to do with the BOTH of you. If you didn´t want this to happen then you had 2 options. 1) use protection or 2) don´t have sex at all. And then you are using religion saying that you shouldn´t have a baby out of marriage, well let´s get one thing straight you shouldn´t also have sex before marriage as well but you´ve done that.

What´s done is done, it´s happened and now growing inside her is both of your child. You´ve got 2 options of what you do now 1) you stay and raise your child and provide for your child like a man or 2) you walk away like a little boy and leave her to raise YOUR child on her own. I think I already known your choice though.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If anyone could help with the translation above I would be most grateful. I tried to translate it myself but then I´ve gotten myself all angry I can´t think straight and it came out completely the ´opposite´ of what I wanted to say.

thank you to anyone

We have a child and my husband only speaks turkish to him and I do find that I do pick up more words as he is speaking. When he´s speaking to our child in english whatever command then I reply back to what he has said (in english). I just need more confidence in speaking this is my problem.

I am going to spend a week with my in laws in May so I do think this will help me, I hope it will anyway. My husband isn´t coming with me and our son so I will have no choice but to be confident and speak.

I´ve been learning turkish on my own (with the help of the internet), with the likes of grammer and also watching T.V. and I know many many words in turkish just don´t have the confidence, this is my only problem

I don´t know if this is the right board to put this on, but basically I am trying to write a little story in turkish but I am stuck on a few words: how would you say, ´he was sick´. I know sick is ´hasta´ and I know about the personal pronouns: (ben hastayim/sen hastasin/o hasta) and know about the past tense however I am unsure how to write ´he was sick´. Would someone please be kind enough to explain

thanks

Hi Everyone,

I don´t know if this is the right board to be posting this on and if not then I apoligze for this. I´m having one of them days where I would give my everything to be walking down a street in Karaman. Which has got me thinking on to bigger things that I need to achieve in my life..

Is there anyone in here who can give me tips on speaking turkish. I´m not on about the grammer but just the general speaking part. You see to obtain turkish citizenship you will be given a speaking test (naturally) and although I can understand what is being said to me when it comes to speaking I have no confidence whatsoever.

This got me thinking about youtube, I was even considering making a video of myself talking in turkish and thought youtube would be a good website to do this on because then people could comment on my prouncation.

There are no turkish courses around my area even in my local college so I´ve only got the internet and my husband and even in front of my husband I tend to shy off when speaking to him in his own language.

Within a few years we will be moving over to Turkey but we´ll be living in karaman and as some of you (if not most of you) will know Karaman isn´t a tourist resort so I will need to able to speak turkish. People I speak to tell me that once I am living over there my turkish will improve but I want to be able to speak the language BEFORE we make the move, I just feel it will be so much easier to be able to speak the language before we arrive.

So if anyone could help me on ideas of ways to gain confidence when speaking turkish then I will be very much greatful to anyone.

Hi, it´s quite a long one but would really appreciate the help of this ´letter´. I have got up because I couldn´t sleep because the person who I want to send the message to has really effected me. Any help I will be soooooo greatful to anyone, thank you in advanced.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why was I quiet? you asked. That was simple, it was because I logged off the internet because rather than try and defend myself any longer and justify myself to someone who is making big accusations about me.

I can´t lie and say that it never affected me because I am the shy, quiet sort of girl. I don´t pretend to be something I am not, I am me and that is all I can be. I can´t see the point of changing for people. But your accusation to me last night really hurt inside.

Look I am sorry that you felt that way but please all I ask from you is not to judge me before knowing me and then afterwards judge. I don´t believe that anyone should make judgements on someone when they don´t know them.

Maybe it´s because I commented on the statements that you shared? is this the problem? Look I will go and delete my statements right now if that is the problem. I only commented because I liked/agreed them, it was simple as that.

Please from the bottom of my heart I do not want any trouble, I am merely here to meet and make new friends and hopefully find someone more special than a friend lol, I say that laughing because I am on the verge of actually giving up finding someone special. Just when someone ´special´ comes in to my life they eventually prove that they are not so special after all.

Anyway enough of that conversation, my main reason to contact you today was not to have an argument with you. I hate arguing with people and I certainly hate having a bad atmosphere between people. This is absolutely not my intention.

Please all I am asking you from the bottom of my heart is to not judge me until you have known me. I am not a bad person, I am promising that now, I can promise on the quran that I have never hurt anyone in my life and don´t intend to start now.

When it all comes down to it I am just a shy, quiet girl who has come here to talk with friends and to look for (I am going to laugh again) love, or try to look for.

Thank you for your time and really I don´t want no bad atmosphere, this is what I don´t want you.

I hope you have a good day

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Don´t you feel so much better when you write down something that you want to say lol. At least I will be able to get some sleep now. Thank you to anyone who can help me translate this, I know it´s long but I have tried my best to split the ´letter´ up in to sections so hopefully it makes it easier.

thank you
