I would lower a knee,
and touch my elbow to the ground
to look at the grass, bent
by the falling of some word,
as though by the paw of a lion in flight.
The words spun between us,
back and forth,
and the more I loved you, the more
they continued, this whirl almost seen,
the structure of matter, the beginnings of things

Dizimi alçaltıp

dokunurum zemine dirseğimle

çime bakmak için, bükülürüm

dökülen kimi kelimelerle,

sanki dövüşen aslanın pençeleri gibi.

Sözler döner durur aramızda,

İleri ve geri,

ve daha çok sevdikçe seni,

daha çok devam eder.

görünür neredeyse

bu anafor [ baş dönmesi ],

maddenin yapısı, eşyanın başlangıcı..

Quoting elenagabriela

can I ask for more..here is a poem of my favourite writer and I want to translate it in turkish..thanks a lot

Nichita Stãnescu

Sentimental story

Then we met more often.
I stood at one side of the hour,
you at the other,
like two handles of an amphora.
Only the words flew between us,
back and forth.
You could almost see their swirling,
and suddenly,
I would lower a knee,
and touch my elbow to the ground
to look at the grass, bent
by the falling of some word,
as though by the paw of a lion in flight.
The words spun between us,
back and forth,
and the more I loved you, the more
they continued, this whirl almost seen,
the structure of matter, the beginnings of things.

 Then we met more often.
I stood at one side of the hour,
you at the other,
like two handles of an amphora.
Only the words flew between us,
back and forth.
You could almost see their swirling,
and suddenly,

Ve sonra sık sık buluştuk.

Saatin bir yanında ben durdum,

diğer yanında sen,

tıpkı çift kulplu eski bir testi gibi.

Sadece kelimeler uçuştu aramızda,

ileri ve geri.

Neredeyse görebilirdin girdabı,

ve aniden,

Malul originally [the correct usage is "disabled" ] but some people using it incorrectly as "known" .

I know what " malum " means , malum =  known [correct translation from arabic whereas malul is incorrect usage that is still being used by some people ]

examples for correct and incorrect usage of malul =

malulen emekli olmak = being retired because of disability. [getting retired early because of disability ]

hafıza-i beşer nisyan ile maluldur ---> people understand this saying as " the human memory is known as forgetful " ---> this is wrong but people knows it this way. that should be ;

" the human memory is disabled with forgetting [things] " [ in other words, the human memory is not perfect, its disables most of the times , it forget things easly]
