2 Slang   yakıyor/ateşli phat (pretty hot and tempting)

Just like -Iyor was creating a participle function. Could it be?

Foto atayım mı benim fotomu? Bakar_mısın?

Actually I made a mistake. benim fotomu must be the object of atmak because bakmak takes dative. But it doesn´t really make a difference in the meaning.

at|a|y|ım is subjunctive, nemanja. The voice of concepts envisaged by the speaker.

                           sg 1st atayım

                           sg 2nd atasın

                           sg 3rd ata

                           pl 1st atalım

                           pl 2nd atasınız

                           pl 3rd atalar

Only the 1st persons are used usually. They can often be translated with Let me or Let us. I have seen the 3rd person singular sometimes in poems and proverbs, so it is good to recognize it. In the above question I would translate it as shall I send  -  just like you did.

Kanuni obviously knew how to talk to ladies. I hope Hürrem understood the value of words.

This poem was written by Sultan III. Murad after he had missed the morning prayer.

No wonder. Üçüncü Murad was a drunkard with a red nose.

It doesn´t lessen his acchievements as a poet, though.

"Displacement". Yes.

The structure is so much simplified you should expect ambiguity but obviously there is none.

si++, sağ ol. We will probably refer to your post many times later.

But we were moving so fast it was as if a curtain was opened in front of us and a new window burst into sight.

We were wonderingly watching the houses of the town below.

Each one of them looked tiny like a dot.
