You should thank me too. I motivated the admin with my words or you would be waiting forever

I think it was the picture of him -- it proved that the stories about spying on him over the internet are right.

Quoting TheNemanja

~Nemanja-(Serbian- Немања

There are two different theories.

1)Nemanja-the one who doesn´t have

Imati-have
Nemati-to have not
Nema-there is no

2) Nemanja-The one who kills monsters

Neman-monster.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nemanjahttp://www.behindthename.com/name/nemanja

On the Serbian wikipedia I found 3rd meaning, the one that attracts .

 Go with #3.

My name is a derivative of Mary, meaning bitter. Ouch.

Possible in theory but it´s very very very unlikely to hear it from a native speaker.

" Sana .... demedim mi?"

"Didn´t I tell you not to ...." is a favourite phrase of teachers and mothers when scolding their child for falling over/ getting dirty or other forms of trouble that toddlers get into when they are exploring the world and ignoring the sensible advice they receive from an adult!

Ignoring the mi makes it a negative statement, not a question. "I didn´t say". The meaning is totally different.

As si++ says, in Cyprus they have the English habit of turning a statement into a question by raising the voice at the end. "You going to the club tonight" - if raise the voice at the end means "Are you going to the club tonight?"

Ölü bir kedi harika bir evcil hayvandır. Yiyeceğinizi yemez, etrafı mahvetmez, siyah elbiselerinize tüylerini dökmez. Sizi dışarı çıkmak için uyandırmaz.

 Kes, I agree with gök.

Sizi uyandırmaz - does not wake you up.

Here "you" is the subject of the verb "to wake someone else up".

The -dır- bit in uyandırmak is the causative:

uyanmak = to wake up

uyandırmak = to wake someone else up (lit: to cause to wake up).

Good try nemanja but the translation of fifth sentence is problematic. I dont know how to translate it literally too.

My try:

I am enough handsome to make an orangutan jealous.

I am so handsome it would make an orangutan jealous.

(Not me -- just translating. I am so beautiful it would make a mermaid jealous.)

As the owner of 3 wonderful cocker spaniels, I´d like to respectfully suggest you use the word "it" not "köpek". My köpekler are adorable, in white t-shirts or otherwise.

Silence speaks when words can´t

kelime değil mi zaman sessizlik konuşuyor

How about a poetic translation, using a Turkish phrase:

Sözlerin bittiği yerde sessizlik konuşuyor.
