That would have been my first translation if I hadn´t seen the previous correspondence.

i.e. the söylersiniz is like a polite way of giving a command.

Marion telefon edince söyle bana  = tell me when Marion rings.

= Marion telefon edince söylersiniz.

But then the "olmaz mý" bit confused me, and made me think it was more like the first translator´s go, almost as if the speaker was meaning, don´t tell me know, just tell me when you ring me later.

Telefon edince söylersiniz, olmaz mý? = Can´t you just tell me when you ring?

Can you comment on this one - I always find your explanations on advanced stuff helpful!
