H_BEN Söz: Artun Ertürk ve Pamela

I added my changes in capitals:

Dinlemazsen duamazsin
If you never listen you pray not
Bakmazsan go’remazsin
If you never’ look you never see - YOU CANNOT SEE
Yaratmazsan sevemazsin
If you never create you never love - YOU CANNOT LOVE
Yas’amazsan olemazsin
If you never live you never become - YOU CANNOT DIE

NOTE: The Turkish is a bit "bozuk" e.g. it should be göremezsinölemezsiz and sevemezsin. If the first line should be duayamazsın then it too should be you cannot pray. It would also be more poetic (but less of a word for word translation) in English to change each line to If you haven't .... you cannot ....
e.g. If you haven't created anything you cannot love
or You cannot ... unless you have first ...
e.g. You cannot love unless you have first created something
or You cannot ... without ...
You cannot love without creating

Yikmazsan kuramazsin
If you never demolish you won’t build anything YOU CAN'T BUILD ANYTHING
Kuramazsan gidemezsin’
If you never build your won’t go YOU CAN'T GO
Gitmezsen go’remizsin
If you never go you won’t see YOU CAN'T SEE
Varmazsan olamazsin
If you never exist you won’t become (No real English equivalent) IF YOU DON'T ARRIVE YOU CAN'T EXIST

Dokulmazsan anlatamazsin
If one never weaves You never understand YOU CAN'T EXPLAIN WITHOUT HAVING FIRST BEEN TOUCHED
Anlatmazsan o’grenezsin
If you never understand you never learn IF YOU DON'T EXPLAIN YOU CANT LEARN

do you want me to repair your car tonight?

Bu gece araban yapmak beni istiyorsunuz?

Bu akşam arabanı tamir etmemi istiyormusun?

Or, if you know they want you to fix ir, but you are not sure if they want it done tonight:

Bu akşam mı arabanı tamir etmemi istiyorsun?

Rather than answering your question directly, I have noticed that often people ask why 2 people translate the same sentence differently.

There are many reasons for this. One is that languages are very rich, and you can say the same thing in more than one way.

e.g. you can say he is rich, he is wealthy, he is well-off and all are correct.

I'll leave it to the 2 who translated your sentences to say which they thought was better'''

I don't think it is a case of loving Turkey more than our own nations.

Just loving it a lot, and differently from our own nation.

It is a fascination for the way Turkey manages to mix east and west, and constantly surprise us.
