Quoting gissmoe:

I need help with tranlating the poem below to turkish. I want to send it to a friend who is hurting.

ONE DAY

One day your broken heart will heal
A day will come when pure joy is what you feel
Birgün kirik kalbin iyilesecek
Hissettigin saf mutluluk oldugunda o gün gelecek

Your pain and sorrow will melt away
You will love and smile again one day
Aci ve kederin kaybolup gidecek
Bir gün tekrar sevecek ve gülümseyeceksin

Living will be sweet again
God will bring joy to you my friend
Yasamak tekrar tatli olacak
Tanri neseyi sana verecek arkadasim

My spirit light touches your heart
It is the spirit hand that surrounds and protects you
Ruhumun isigi kalbine dokunur
O, Seni cevreleyen ve koruyan ruhumun elidir.

To give you strength to weather the storm
And bring your life back to how it belongs

One day the pain will go and sun will shine
Life will taste sweet again and you will be fine
Bir gün aci gidecek ve günes parlayacak
Hayat tekrar tatlilasacak ve sen iyi olacaksin

A butter fly will bring a message from you to me
I will give praise to know that your heart is new and free
Bir kelebek senden bana mesaj getirecek
Kalbinin yeni ve özgür oldugunu bilmekle övünecegim.

teşekkür ederim sabah sabah kafayı yicektim nerdeyse

you mean "yiyecektim" instead of "yicektim".
we must be careful about writing completely, Turkish people can understand what you mean but others can not understand and they will want to translate it, but they can't find the words which are shortened.

I have never had a problem with you seeing your family.Your family are part of you and therefore important to me . When me and ayse travelled to Turkiye in 2005 I saw such sadness in your mothers eyes she was desperate to see you I couldnt imagine how much pain she was going through . since then I longed for the day when you would be reunited with her. So you should never think I would begrudge you and your family a chance to be together I just wished you could have made me and ayse part of your family too, we just wanted to be included. I didnt like the way you didnt discuss your plans with me.

Aileni görmenle ilgili seninle hic problemim olmadi. Planlarini benimle tartismama yolunu sevmedim.
