Quoting pmitride:

herkes merhaba,

Biraz yardım istiyorum (I need). Yeni mesaj ´penpaldan´ aldı, ama bir şey anlamadım:

TU Türkiye´ye gelmeyi düşÃ¼nüyor musun ?
EN Do you think you´re coming to Turkey ? (?)

I don´t understand how that ´gelmeyi´ form is built. Is
it always like that after (before) düşÃ¼nüyor musun ?
Would you say for example ´Türkiye´de meze yemeyi düşÃ¼nüyor musun ?

Could anyone tell me what ´yazdılarımı´ in ´umarım yazdıklarımı anlayabilirsin´ ? I couldn´t find any entry around ´yazdı/yazdılar´.

teşekkürler

Pascal

Yes-the infinitive takes this form before verbs except istemek.
So if you said ´I want to come to Turkey´you would say ´Turkiye´e GELMEK istiyorum´ but if you said ´I´m thinking of coming to Turkey´ you would say ´Turkiye´e gelmeyi dusunuyorum´

The last bit is ´I hope you can understand that which I have written´ or more simply I hope you can understand what I write.

Sence Ela engeller mesafeler sevgi ve aşk için geçerli olabilirmi.

Ela you think that distance hinders love and can this be acceptable for love?

You just seperated one sentence into two here... and you omited one word... but i am inspired from your vocabulary and i offer this:

Ela, do you think disntance and hindrances can be acceptable for love and care?

I was translating 'engeller' from the verb 'engellemek' to hinder or impede so not 'hindrances' but hinder.
So I thought 'distances hinder love'

If a match matches?

hmmm...

wasnt there a verb to match?

or should i write "to light a match"?

There is a verb 'to match' but it means something totally different. You 'light a match' or 'strike a match'

so-'with a match you struck(or lit) in your heart'
