"falan" ve "vesaire" aynı anlam taşıyor?

teşekkür ederim!

falan means : so and so...these things..

vesaire means :and so forth,et cetera..etc...

so given these two words we can say YES..they are more or less same..

of course it depends on the context they are being used..

but i can say that falan is more slang ...its used alot..with filan

falan filan = things like that..etc..et cetera..

falan filan is a proper way to use.

One of my dictionaries translates mutlu kilmak as exhilerate. Is that a good tranlation?

´´exhilarete´ means çok neşelendirmek (which is make someone very cheerfull´ so its not exactly giving the meaning of mutlu kılmak..

so ´´ mutlu kılmak ´´ is to make someone happy..let me give you an example;

Buraya gelmek beni her zaman mutlu kılıyor (kılar). (Coming here always make me happy)

Thank you to everyone for helping.

Just to make sure I understand properly......is this correct?
I should be working = Ben çalışıyor olmalım
Does ´ben´ need to be included here or is çalışıyor olmalım sufficient?

Hi bod, ben doesnt need to be included there. and its gonna be like this..

´´ I should be working = Ben çalışıyor olmalıyım.´´ or ´´Çalışıyor olmalıyım.´

i think the verb is "mutlu etmek"

Yes..the verb is ´´mutlu etmek´´ =to make someone happy

there is another way of it which is ´´mutlu kılmak´´ but its not common ..

 Doesnt have to be : xxx´ - i biliyor musun ?

yes..actually that should be *** i biliyor musun ?  or tanıyor musun ? obviously *** is a person..so we better say ***i tanıyor musun ?

for example.. selimi tanıyor musun ?  do you know selim ?
