ESKİ (FROM NEW ALBUM - BENİM ADIM ORMAN)

Eski bir şiir,
Eski bir hikaye,
Eski bir ezgi,
Var aklımda.
Herkes hayattaydı,
Bildiğim herkes,
Hiç korku yoktu,
Yoktu aklımda,
Eski bir kitap,
Eskimiş resimler,
Eski bir şarkı,
Var aklımda.
Sevdiğim birini
Hiç kaybetmemiştim,
Kaybetmek yoktu,
Yoktu aklımda.
Sıradan basit bir günün uğruna,
Hiç dua etmemiş, hiç yalvarmamıştım.

Eski bir oyun,
Eski bir sokakta,
Eski bir hırka,
Var omzumda.
Aşka inanırdım,
Her hücremle,
Hiçbir yük yoktu,
Yoktu omzumda,
Sıradan güzel bir günün uğruna,
Hiç dua etmemiş, henüz yalvarmamıştım.

Sen nasıl başardın?
Yüzyıllık ağaç gibisin.
Nasıl böyle kaldın?
Yürürken eskimeyen,
Eskise de değerlenen.

Yoksa sen de sadece öyle duranlardan mısın?

An old poem,
An old story,
An old melody,
In my mind.
Everybody was alive,
Everybody I know,
No any fear existed,
Not existed in my mind.
An old book,
Old photos,
An old song,
In my mind.
I had never lost someone I love,
There was no losing,
Not existed in my mind.
For the shake of a simple and ordinary day,
I had never prayed and never begged.

An old game,
In an old street,
An old sweater
On my shoulders.
I believed in love,
With all of my cells,
There was no important thing to consider,
Not existed on my shoulders.
For the shake of a beatufiul and simple day,
I had never prayed, and not begged yet.

How did you do it?
You are like a centennial tree,
How did you remain like this?
Not aging of walking,
Increasing value even though aging.

Or are you from who just keep stopping?

İSTİKLAL CADDESİ KADAR (FROM NEW ALBUM - BENİM ADIM ORMAN)

Alnımdan akan ter,
Sana hiç değmedi,
Gözümden damlayan yaş,
Denizi bulmadı.

Bir sokak gördüm rüyalarımda gecelerce,
Hiç sana çıkmadı.
Sadece yarım saat tutuştuk el ele,
O saat durmadı.

Düşünüyorum,
Ne kadar sevmiş olabilirim?
Düşünüyorum,
Sen, ben, gece ve bir yol.
Başka bir şey yok elimde, hafızamda,
Düşünüyorum,
Ne kadar yer etmiş olabilir?
İstiklal Caddesi kadar...
İstiklal Caddesi kadar...

Anları birer birer,
Topladım, sakladım.
Tarihin ortasında,
Gelecek aradım.
Hücreme girdin,
Dokundun hücrelerime.
Buluttum, damladım.
Cümleler kaçtı, dağıldı dört bir tarafa,
Sadece noktayım.

Sweet streaming from my head,
Never touched you.
Tear streaming from my eye,
Didn´t find the sea

I have dreamed a street for nights,
Never ended at you,
Just we kept on hands for half an hour
That hour didn´t stop.

I´m thinking,
How much might I have loved?
I´m thinking,
You, me, night and a road,
There is nothing else in my hand, in my memory,
I´m thinking,
How much place might it have had?
As much as Istiklal Street,
As much as Istiklal Street,

I tidied, I hided the moments,
One by one.
In the middle of history,
I looked for future.
You´ve been to my cells,
You touched my cells,
I was cloud and dropped down,
Sentences have escaped and scattered,
I´m just a point.

I can understand Azeri Turkish generally; except some points but I can say that there is no importance whether you understand Azeri Turkish or not  when you listen their magical musics and songs...

thx
