Thread: Malls in Istanbul

I am talking about the shopping here, not traveling inside the malls. If you want a mall to travel inside, you can travel Cevahir, it is like a maze

Kanyon is very unappropriate at winters, it snows and rains inside the mall {#emotions_dlg.alcoholics}

At Kanyon;

A sandwich: 25 TL

A hat appropriate to fashion: 125 TL

Subway Cost: 1.5 TL

But meeting and asking a sign from a movie star is beyond the prices

Note: ForumIstanbul of Bayrampaşa is going to beat them all

A very funny song of Göksel , Bir Seni Konuşurum (I only talk about You)

Akşamüstü uğradım sahildeki kahveye
Oturup arkadaşların yanına, sıcak bir çay söyledim
İnce belli bardakta,
Herkes bi şeyler anlattı, kimi sırrını paylaştı
Sohbet koyuydu doğrusu,
Konuştukça azalıyor insanın derdi korkusu.

Ben de senden bahsettim,
Anlatırken fark ettim,
Senle başlar biterim,
Ben senden ibaretim.

Aşkından esaretim.
Aşkından esaretim.

Bana seni hatırlatır bir şey bulurum,
Sağımı solumu şaşırıp unuturum,
Uzaklara dalıp dalıp senin olurum,
Sus olur pus olur bi´ seni konuşurum.

Sözlerim demli, gamlı, nihavent makamı,
Konuşurum yerli yersiz seni, aşkını,
Ben de senden bahsettim,
Anlatırken fark ettim,
Senle başlar biterim, ben senden ibaretim,
Aşkından esaretim, aşkından esaretim.

Translation:

I have visited the beach-cafe at nightfall
I sat down nearby the friends, I asked for a hot tea, at slim-glass,
Everybody told about something, some of them shared secrets,
Chat was delightes to be honest,
Descending fears and troubles of human as they are shared.

And I told about you,
I realized while talking
I start and end by you,
I am made up of you.

I am captive of your love
I am captive of your love

I may find something that reminds you to me,
I may confuse and forget my left and right,
I dive into distants and belong you,
I fall into silence and I only talk about you

My words are dark, mopish and at nihavent mode
I talk about you and your love in season and out of season,
And I told about you,
I realized while talking that,
I start and end by you,
I am made up of you.

Thx

Deli_kizin, it sound like "Hislerimin/Hissettiklerimin arkasındayım."

(I am behind my feelings/what I feel)

It sounds little tragic

Quoting Melike1

I don´t like most of Şebnem´s songs because of it´s rock but İ like ´yağmurlar´

Yağmurlar is really good Melike, but Şebnem Ferah is very successful at adapting Turkish language into rock style music, she is perfect at this ...

Capacity and Carousel are cheap for shopping in Bakırköy

Cevahir has thousand of alternatives you can do at but it is a little expensive

If you are going to make shopping, never go to the Kanyon because you may have to spend your fortune

Malls of Beylikdüzü shine too, now they build new one to Avcılar, by the name of "Pelican"

If you are looking for cheap outlets, 212 at Güneşli community of Bağcılar is very appropriate,

Zeytinburnu´s Olivium is another good place for outlet {#emotions_dlg.alcoholics}

Note: I know istanbul since i was born, so you can trust at me

She is the best woman-rocker of Turkey, I have translated some lyrics of her:

Çakıl Taşları (Pebble Stones)

Benim çakıl taşlarım var,
İrili ufaklı,
Kaybolduğumda yere yayıp yol yaptığım

Çakıl taşlarım var,
Her yerden topladığım,
Boşluğa düştüğümde oyunlar yaratıp oynadığım.

Benim bir sözlüğüm var,
Unutulmuş bir dil,
Oysa ki içinde her şeyin anlamı gizli.

Benim bir gözlüğüm var,
Sol camı kırıldı,
Taktığım zamanlarda içini gösteren adeta.

Sen hiç hiç oldun mu?
Birden duruldun mu?
Bulanıkmış berrakmış her suyu içtin mi?
Altında ağ olmadan yerden yükseldin mi?
Tam zevkine varmışken birden yere düştün mü sen?
Düştün mü sen? Düştün mü sen?

Benim hiç boyanmamış dört duvarım var,
Çatlaklarından sızıp içinden geçtiğim,
Benim hiç yıkılmamış duvarlarım var,
Dikkatle baktığımda ardını gördüğüm adeta,

Sen hiç hiç oldun mu?
Birden duruldun mu?
Bulanıkmış berrakmış her suyu içtin mi?
Altında ağ olmadan yerden yükseldin mi?
Tam zevkine varmışken birden yere düştün mü sen?
Düştün mü sen? Düştün mü sen?

Benim bir hikayem var, sonunu yazmadığım,
Benim bir sevgilim var, henüz tanışmadığım,
Benim umudum var, benim umudum...
Benim umudum var, benim umudum...

Translation:

I have got pebble stones,

They are little and big,

That I draw a way when I get lost.

I have got pebble stones,

That I have collected from left and right,

That I create games and play with, when I fall into space.

I have got a dictionary,

A forgetten language,

Actually everything´s meaning is hidden inside it.

I have got an eyeglass,

Its left glass was broken,

Almost showing inside of others when I use it.

Have you ever been nothing?

Pure or not, have you drunk all waters?

Have you risen up without a web under you?

Have you ever felt down just the moment you tasted its pleasure?

Have you ever felt down? Have you ever felt down?

I have got four wall that have never been painted,

That I can pass other side by leaking the its cracks from inside it,

I have got walls that never have been collapsed,

That I can see behing it when I look carefully,

Have you ever been nothing?

Pure or not, have you drunk all waters?

Have you risen up without a web under you?

Have you ever felt down just the moment you tasted its pleasure?

Have you ever felt down? Have you ever felt down?

I have got a story that I haven´t written the end,

I have got a lover who I haven´t met yet,

I have got hope, my hope,

I have got hope, my hope...

Note: I will add more Şebnem Ferah songs to this page for rock listeners.

thx
