OK, but what about pictures on your hard disk that you would want to upload here? I totally forgot how to do that..

You can't upload pictures from your hard disk onto the forum. But you can upload them in the 'Turkey in pictures' section. Just sign in on your account, click 'Control Panel' and then 'Upload' » Turkey pictures. Then the rest will just follow.

Once they are uploaded, you can use them the same way as the other online pictures, to use them in your posts.

But as far as I know you can't just upload piccies from your hard disk into the forums.

I used to work with HTML for a while, so I will try to explain:

You must use a picture from the internet.
Right-click on the picture and choose the last option, 'properties/qualities' (I don't know what it says on English computers exactly, sorry)

A small page will pop-up, telling you the protocol, the address/URL, the size etc. of the picture. Copy the address/URL. This is your picture:

ttp://static.flickr.com/43/87080689_a6275424e8_o.jpg

Because of the HTML already used in the forum, you don't need the http: part. Backspace this, and your picture-link will look like this:

//static.flickr.com/43/87080689_a6275424e8_o.jpg

Now you need the code to enter your picture into HTML on the forum.

< img src='PASTE YOUR COPIED ADDRESS/URL HERE' >

01. Don't forget to delete the 'spaces' I used before the < and >. They shouldn't be there, but otherwise I couldn't show you teh code.

02. Don't forget to open and close the address with ' and don't forget to open and close the code with < & > . Don't use any SPACES in your code.

If you did everything well, your result is as follows:

I wonder what I am more shocked with: the fact that the terrible things go on and that the English police doesn't seem to do a shit about it, or the disrespectful and insulting comments of 'Oli'?

Ceyda, merak etme. Herşey daha iyi olacak. Seni güzel bir hayat bekliyor

I don't know about Poland, but this is how it is for me. Ithink for each country it counts that you have to pay for sending money to an account in a different country.

Within the EU money transfers are free of charge for a while now. But outside the EU those transfers can be very expensive.

Ohh, well the last time we sent it via a bank-account to Turkey, we had to pay. And it took long. Now we always use Western Union. but that's not a good idea for Seticio and me, as it's expensive and you can't have such amounts of money (we paid 40 euros to send kadir 750 euros) just to send money each month!

But I guess Turkey is not in the zone of EU transfers yet, right?

Well, in my case, keeping my Dutch bankaccount will be cheaper than opening a Turkish one: even if you have a Turkish bankaccount that accepts euros/dollars, your parents will have to pay for sending you the money anyway.

If you take out ALL your money at once in the bankomatik, it's cheaper then having your parents to pay for sending the money to your turkish bankaccount plús paying the exchange rates in an office or bank.

I don't know about Poland, but this is how it is for me. Ithink for each country it counts that you have to pay for sending money to an account in a different country.

Yes
you spotted on some mistakes but your mistakes are:
msn'de--> msn'e because it's always -e gelmek
7'dan --> yedi-den
e-maili--> e-mail because with numbers you don't use definite
umarım and -ceksin cannot be together in turkish (as far as I know) because while umarım gives probability, -ceksin gives certanity but "inanıyorum ki cevap vereceksin" could be because to believe something erases the probability.

Thank you

Ohh ofcourse, 7'den..

And the umarim and ceksin makes sense. Never thought of it that way. Thank you.

Indeed, we learn something new every day

Merhaba canım,

* I can't come on msn, because i have to work from 7-18.00 every day. That is way I have send you an email. I hope you will answer my email. Take care.

I have made this translation my self from english to Turkish. Can someone correct my turkish if it is not good. Thank you.

I'd put it like this:

Ben msn'de gelemem, çünkü her gün 7dan 18.'e kadar çalışmam lazım (the meli-mali suffix is used when nót doing the action doesnt cause problems. not going to work causes problems ), Bu yüzden sana bir e-maili gönderdim. Umarim e-mailimi cevap vereceksin. Kendine iyi bak.

But I'm not sure if this is correct either
