Why would you wait so long for someone you don't love?

If I think of me beign with anothe rman, or him being with another girl.. I just get sick.

I'm sorry if I sound harsh.. but I think the pain one has from waiting so long for osmeone, is only worth it if you both really love. And if you really love, you can get through this pain, without getting meaningless signs of 'love' from some clubbing guy you don't even know.


And I'd follow Derya's advice.. you'll break his heart or get his anger over you..

Actually I don't think the Turkish fashion is 2 years behind UK (or Holland for that matter). If you ask me, they are two years ahead!

The mayokini for example.. it's been hot in Türkiye since last spring I guess.. I only saw it TODAY in the newspaper about a new form of being sexy etc..! And they aren't for sale in Holland yet. In Türkiye you saw them everywhere.

Is there anyone who knows a site where you can learn how to play tavla/backgammon or is there anyone who can explain (just in the forum) the basic rules of the 'doors' game?

When Kadir and I were sitting in such a cafe with those carpets on the floor etc, having nargile and tea.. I felt it like a pity that I didn't know how to play the game, otherwise that really would've been relaxing pastimes

I'm not that good at logical games, so we decided the weather was too hot for him to teach me that day.. but maybe I can learn the basics a bit online already!

You can start in the basic-learning section of this website to teach yourself the basics of the language. In » this thread « I've posted the order in which I adviced someoen to start studying Turkish. Maybe you can take a look at it and do that for yourself too.

I'm a learner too and this website has been really helpful to me, as all the Turkish people here in the forums, are able to answer questions about grammar you don't understand, or to correct sentences you tried for yourself.
