Şu cümleler pek iyi anlamıyorum :

-Sensiz kalmanın yarısı kadar zorsa bensizlik beni ömür boy affetmesen yeridir.

-Kalmaya cesaretim olsaydı... Bir an olsa ayırmazdım yanağımı göğsünden, cennetin provasıydı işte.

My try : Make a stand explaining if it is necessary or not to learn by heart times table. 

I don´t understand really the use of "gerekçeleri", couldn´t we just say instead "Çarpım tablosunu ezberlemenin gerekli olup olmadığını anlatınız" ?
