there are only two words which are irregular...

here is one of them: suYu (now Y is between the two vowels)

so what is another word?

I think of sending your question to Hakkı Devrim. Maybe, he would give me the answer.

Hi this is my phone, the other number is my work phone and I don't want to get into trouble for sending message Turkey on it. You can send me message on either number, that's if you're still talking to me!! hee hee

'Selam! Bu benim, diğeri işyeri numaram; Türkiye üzerine ileti göndermekle belaya bulaşmaya niyetim yok. Bana her iki numaradan da ileti gönderebilirsin; demem o ki, hala benimle konuşuyorsan tabi! Ha-haay!'

How do you tranlate 'I have two cats' then?

İki kedim var.

Quote:

I thought it would be 'Iki kediyi var'?

İki kedisivar.= He/She has two cats.

Quote:

Or: 'I see the cat'? All the time I thought that that would be 'Kediyi görmüyorum'?

You are right at this point.
Kediyi görüyorum=I see the cat or Kediyi görmüyorum=I don't see the cat. But,

'KediYi(=kedinin kendisini)gör(m)üyorum/I (don't)see the cat itself.' is different than 'KediSini gör(m)üyorum/I (don't) see his/her cat.'

Have I been so wrong all the time?

(I know, I know, still a lot to learn. But I'm working on it! )

I am under impression that you are about to grasp Turkish completely in just few months. Maybe you already grasped it, you don't just want to show?
