gider ´goes´ is the predicate of this sentence. It is modified by the adverbial gözünün yaşına bakmadan ´without looking at your tears > regardless of your tears´.

The religious marriage is a good solution between two economically independent believing Muslims who both know what they are doing. It gives their relationship an acceptable status in front of Allah and the community. In other cases it is not fair and it can be misused (by the man).

The wife-to-be should know: he can divorce her any time by just saying so while for her it may be pretty difficult (but not impossible) to get a divorce if he does not agree. He can also take another wife or two any time without her permission. Within the marriage she does not have equal rights to decide about her body or the possible offspring. In principle, she is bound to obey him.

The husband-to-be should know: he is responsible for her welfare and livelihood.

Unfortunately it seems that Muslim men often remember the first list but ignore the other when marrying Westeners. Not that it is allowed. But some people just want the raisins from the bun.

I hear an aspirated k. In phonetics it is marked kʰ. Just like in the English kitten. Certainly it is not pronounced in the same place as ç.

I may disagree about a few details (but I think a native should see it because you put a lot of effort on it).

I think these are scary. Once you finally notice the illusion you get goose bumps. Just like it was there all the time looking at you but you did not see it.

I wouldn´t trust these definitions so much but the right side of the brain is said to control creativity.

Thank you all. So it is another diminutive suffix  -  and lack of dotted letters in the text led me astray.

"Oğlusuma Harbiye´de bayıla bayıla yediğim sini oruğu ve düğün çorbası yaptım."

What is oğlusum? Looks like two different possessive suffixes in one word. Is it some kind of a term of endearment?
