Aklınla başla bir işe, aklını gönder teftişe, sonra pişman olma yaptığın işe.

Use your wits when you start a work, call your mind into question and afterwards do not feel remorse for what you have done.

...when you notice that sometimes you check some English words not from the dictionary of your own native language but from English - Turkish dictionary because it just happens to be open on your desktop.

This is possible because Turkish words are more transparent than English lol.

Orada yalnızca Einstein değil Oppenheimer da vardı.

Thank you, gokuyum.

A single constituent is negated with değil even in this type of sentences so I see. Has -DI been dropped here or is değil indeclinable in this function?

                     Orada yalnızca biz ?değil/değiliz öğretmenimiz de var.

Sana yazma istemiyor musun?

The one who writes and the one whe wants are not the same person. You have to show this in the construction.

                          yaz|ma|m|ı = STEM + INF + POSS SG1 + ACC

Simple MAK only works when the one who writes and the one who wants are the same person:

                          Sana yazmak istemiyorum. ´I do not want to write to you.´

xxxx I dont know that he means with tane here.

Could it be

Ey binbir tanede solmayan tek renk;

Oh the only color that does not fade among a thousand and one colors     ?

tane is a pronoun here and its correlate is renk. But the correlate is to the right of it which makes it look strange.

I may be wrong of course.
