I have a question about this, when I was looking up the words in the dictionary, anlam appears to mean something more like "meaning" or "sense" as opposed to "standard", so I´m just wondering if the following translation would be ok as well?
Eðer evrensel anlamda kaliteli bir insan vasfý taþýyorsan;
If, in the universal sense, you possess the qualities of a fine man;
or to go, with your translation:
If you´re considered to be a fina man in the universal sense;
Just wondering, standard has a different meaning than sense, hence my question.
