Quoting ikicihan

Yes that is true for now if we think globally.

I realized that main communication language is changing from time to time and from geography to geography. the time here mostly exceeds the human lifetime, so dont worry

1 to 1.5 cencury ago, french was more common than english. it was replaced after WW2.

in middle ages arabic and persian was more efficient.

today in north africa, french is more useful than english. today in central asia, russian is more useful than english.

We dont know if english language will continue to be a global language for the next century.

Learning English is the second useful thing I have done in this life so far.

Again, I sincerely apologise for what I wrote. It was inappropriate and impolite to bring up such a subject.

If this is the border of impoliteness, I write this message very far away from that border. It is like you are still in the USA but I am in the middle of Mexico

Quoting vineyards

It seems as if we offended Nixie somehow and not the other way around but I don´t understand what went wrong.

There are three general groups of Turkish Class users:

1- Those having a Turkish date.

2- Those using mostly the political discussion forum

3- Those wishing to learn Turkish only.

I belong to group two that´s why I jumped into this discussion.

Which group am I in?

Quoting Grena76

Yüz kızartıcı bir suç değildir hırsızlık; çalınan birinin kalbiyse eğer.

Thanks for translation.

Stealing is not a disgraceful offence, if the stolen is one´s heart.
