1. "doing alterations" (?) meaning...changes, like house changes, fixing things, etc? yes

2. what form of the verb is yapıyon ?? yapıyorsun

I wonder why you call it folk poetry even if the author is known. I got used to thinking about folk poetry as an oral tradition. Are you talking about folk poetry as an opposite to Ottoman poetry, gokuyum?
