cinlerin beynimde yap-dık-ı düğün

we can translate this sentence in two ways:

1)the ceremony which jinns do in my brain

2)the ceremony which jinns did in my brain

 

-dık makes a verb adjective and also  gives a past meaning if the predicate doesn´t contradict it.

Jinn is better. Demon is an old Greek word. And demons are all evil creatures. But jinn is an Arabic word. And some of the jinns are evil and some of them are good creatures. So there is a difference between jinn and demon.

Actually you can´t blank out past tense suffix even you use "dün". Because "gerek" without a tense suffix only express present and future. So you should use past tense suffix after gerek when the action occured in the past.

Ex: Dün akşam eve gitmem gerekti.

"dık" makes the verb "yapmak" adjective. When "yapmak" becomes adjective, the words highlighted red alltogether become an adjective group.

 

They answer the question "what kind of a ceremony?" or "which ceremony?"

Answer is "The ceremony which demons do in my brain"
