What do you mean by ´keen agnostic´?

Here are some definition for debate:

"theist"        - a person who believes God (or gods) exists.
"nontheist"  - would be a person who lacks the belief "God (or gods) exists"
"atheist"      - a person who believes God (or gods) do NOT exist
"agnostic"  -  a person who doesn´t know.  i.e.  doesn´t believe God exists and doesn´t believe God does not exist.

I recommend the following text by Theodore Drange:

http://www.infidels.org/library/modern/theodore_drange/definition.html

I was an agnostic. Because i am a very skeptic person.

Yep, that is the 1st law of Thermodynamics.  I think you mean it can only change from one form to another, for instance, energy is contained fossil fuels (embodied energy), take coal and when it is burned in a fire the energy is released as heat and carbon is released into the atmosphere.

I can´t answer the question of a starting point for energy, I guess the scientists who discovered thermodynamic would have the answer.

I don´t believe in God, and have not done so since I was a child when no one could tell me how a God could let children die (children of my age) when they were at school in the Aberfan Disaster in 1966 - over 100 children died in the school when a coal waste slid onto the school and suffocated those children.  And then the question, well if there is a God how come no one has seen him?  No one could answer that either.  I have plenty of reason why I don´t believe in God.  I believe in evolution, and scientific reasoning.  In my view science can prove most things and as far as I am aware it has not proven there is a God.  Without science we would not be where we are today.

Two days ago i started to believe God. I was a very keen agnostic but two days ago i read a book and it convinced me. I am a book worm. I read 200 books about philosophy and theology. Any of them couldn´t convince me. But after i read that book i started to believe god.

But i have a different god concept. I believe god created the energy that forms us. This energy has many forms. Our soul is a very thinner form of this energy. And our soul also has capacity to form energy. So that means god created us like him. But i don´t believe anybody talked with god and got revelations from him directly. There are higher creatures than us in universe and they were the ones that sent the holy books. There is only one purpose of human. It is to evolve, to have higher understanding of himself and universe. The purpose of holy books was to make us evolve. Holy books completed their missions. All the books have heavy symbolisms. If you read them without understanding these symbols they will seem to you as children stories. You should try to understand the deeper meanings of them. For example what does hell and heaven symbols mean? The ignorance or wrong concepts of a person about himself and  universe is a situation we call hell. The opposite of this is a situation we call heaven. There are many symbols like these. There are no heaven or hell as real places. These are the situations of mind and soul.

Man has to evolve and gain higher understanding. But a life time is so short for a complete evolving. So we have to get through  many different lives. Each life is a step. But there is no end to evolving. There is no limit to it. Only god is perfect. And all other creatures are deficient and has to evolve.

Some of my explanations can seem you absurd. But these ideas convinced me. You can´t blame god for anything. He is not responsible of children´s death. He is the creator that gave us opportunity to evolve. He created us like himself with similar capacities. He is absolutely good.

This kind of perspective to god and universe seemed to me very reasonable and humanist.

would someone be able to translate these 2 phrases separately for me:

1 - olm sen hababm soınıfındamı okudun amq

2- lan bizim sinif hababama 5 ceker di len

"Hababam Sınıfı" is a famous novel about a very noisy class full of lazy students. It is also adapted to series of movies. So we say "hababam sınıfı" to a class like that.

1) Dude, did you study at the the final class of Hababam for god sake?

2) Dude our class would surpass Hababam, dude.

Quoting Zagreb

Late summer, come autumn, the weather gets cooler, and the city seemed to turn into a huge block of clear glass.. autumn is clean and bright and conducive to romance..

Yazın sonu, sonbahar gel, havalar serinliyor, şehir büyük temiz bir cam bloğuna dönmüş gözüküyor... sonbahar temiz ve parlak ve romantizme teşvik edici.

I would like to understand this sentecen please, thank you forum:

Kadınların hepsi aynı diyen erkek; hoştur, sevimlidir; ilgi ve şefkate açtır.

Besbelli kuyruğu fena acımıştır. Üstüne varmayın. Düzelir.

The man who says all women are same is nice, cute; hungry to attention and tenderness. Apparently he had a bad experience. Don´t bear down on him he will be alright.

Why do you have an one-sided perspective about everything?
