Quoting nemanjasrb

I´m not sure that I understood that what you said.

She said that there may be found turkish subtitled turkish movies for deaf people! But we can use them to learn turkish, too
I used to watch english movies with english subtitles, it was very helpful for me.

"Allah gave you this life because your strong enough To live it."

Allah bu hayatı sana verdi çünkü sen onu yaşayacak kadar kuvvetlisin.

"Keep your head up and keep your heart strong."

Başını dik kalbini "strong" tut.

(i am not sure if "sağlam" is a good translation, wait for others)

Learning English is the second useful thing I have done in this life so far.

...i have ever done in my life.

ben olsam cümleyi böyle bitirirdim. yabancılar hep böyle kullanıyor.

we can ignore the "ise" word here. we can translate it as "but" (fakat/ama) if we have to.

the meaning of "ise" here, something changes, transforms to totally an opposite side.

here in first part, he or she is not exist, and in the second part he or she is exist. there is a total radical transformation and "ise" word tells us this change.

more example:

dün hastaydım, şimdi ise iyiyim.
i was sick yesterday but now i am good/healty/well.

eskiden fakirdim, şimdi ise çok zenginim.

i used to be poor but now i am very rich.

Learning other languages widens one´s world but it all comes after English.

Yes that is true for now if we think globally.

I realized that main communication language is changing from time to time and from geography to geography. the time here mostly exceeds the human lifetime, so dont worry

1 to 1.5 cencury ago, french was more common than english. it was replaced after WW2.

in middle ages arabic and persian was more efficient.

today in north africa, french is more useful than english. today in central asia, russian is more useful than english.

We dont know if english language will continue to be a global language for the next century.

There was news about a small tribe in mongolia speaking almost an extinct language.
Their language is close to turkish so the reporters managed to communicate with them in a week.
