how does the suffix -meye work?

ezberle (root of the verb) + mek (infinitive suffix) + y (buffering y) + e (suffix for çalışmak (to try) )

lets put them together.. ezberle+ mek+y+e  in here the letter " k "drops and the consonant "y" comes.   ezberle+me+y+e = ezberlemeye

another example : Onları görmeye çalışıyorum. (I am trying to see them )

                                  gör+mek+e = gör+me+y+e = görmeye

Quoting counterfactual

"Terbiyesizliğin lüzumu yok bence ara da bi konuşalım artık!"

Could someone tell me what this sentence means? "Terbiyesizliğin lüzumu yok" seems like a common collloquial turkish expression; I´ve seen it many places..

Terbiyesizlik = bad manners, impoliteness, rudeness

"Terbiyesizliğin lüzumu yok bence ara da bi konuşalım artık!"

No need to be impolite, lets talk every now and then.

oNCE again we are spending valentines day so far from each other, but it does not mean that I should not care about this special date. be sure you are always in my mind and in my heart, I am so happy to have you as my valentine. if I could make a wish , I would wish that we could share some tea and a box of chocolates together=) Not fancy but we know we like these two things very much =DD

I love you with all my heart , happy valentines day my love.

I kiss you large.

you girlfriend..

" Bir kez daha Sevgililer gününü birbirimizden cok uzakta geçiriyoruz.

but it does not mean that I should not care about this special date.

Ama bu özel günü önemsememem gerektiği anlamına gelmiyor.

be sure you are always in my mind and in my heart, I am so happy to have you as my valentine.

Emin ol ki, Sen her zaman aklımda ve yüreğimdesin. Sen,sevgilim olduğun için çok mutluyum.

if I could make a wish , I would wish that we could share some tea and a box of chocolates together=)

Bir dilek dileyebilseydim Seninle birlikte bir kutu çukulata ve biraz çayı paylaşmayı dilerdim.=)

Not fancy but we know we like these two things very much =DD

Fantezi bir şey değil ama bilirsin biz çok severiz bu iki şeyi=DD

I love you with all my heart , happy valentines day my love

Quoting tomac

Can I have a (possibly stupid) question from learner?

Does "çekici" in this sentence mean simply "attractive" or does it rather mean that vacuum cleaner is dragging (çekiyor) everything around into itself (which, together with the fact that "çekici" means "attractive", makes it a word-play) ?

Yes Tomac..there is a joke hidden in this sentence..the vacuum cleaner attracts all the dirt inside while its just a vacuum cleaner. So you got the joke. Play on words !Well done..
