I think Turkey supports 5 Indonesian-Turkish schools in Indonesia. Indonesia also has the biggest Muslim population in the Pacific area of the world. It is good to see Turkey helping poorer countries educate their children.
Birşey değil Henry. Yes Turkey supports many schools abroad. Indonesia has the biggest Muslim population in the world. Its good to see Turkish schools abroad increasing in numbers and in efficiency .

Hi, I am new in this forum and may i just say it that i think it is fantastic, love how the translations are done with explanation of the grammar, this is really helpful. Would be very grateful if someone could translate the text bellow, thanks in advance.
Milah
"I haven’t been back in Turkey since 2002 and I miss it very much – I mighty be coming over in April, there is a Paragliding event in Babadag where a friend of mine will be flying and I really want to go, it would also be a good opportunity to be back in Turkey and to see everyone again. Have a look at my pictures from the flying event that happened in Rio, it will be with the same guy in Turkey.I will know for sure in a few weeks if it will be possible for me to travel or not and then I will let you know, it will be wonderful to see you again"
"I haven’t been back in Turkey since 2002 and I miss it very much
2002"den beri Turkiye´ye gitmedim.(dönmedim) ve Türkiye´yi çok özledim.
I mighty be coming over in April,
Nisan´da gelebilirim
there is a Paragliding event in Babadag where a friend of mine will be flying
Babadağ´da bir arkadaşımında uçacağı yamaç paraşütü düzenlenecek.
and I really want to go
ve ben gerçekten gitmek istiyorum (oraya)
it would also be a good opportunity to be back in Turkey and to see everyone again
Aynı zamanda Türkiye´ye geri dönmek ve herkesi görmek için güzel bir fırsat olacak.
Have a look at my pictures from the flying event that happened in Rio,
Rio´da yapılan uçuş aktivitesinde çekilmiş fotoğraflarıma bir gözat.
it will be with the same guy in Turkey
Türkiye´de de aynı çocuk(adam) olacak.
I will know for sure in a few weeks if it will be possible for me to travel or not
I spoke with erdem last night and I asked why he had rowed with you. I asked why he had made you said sad and we talked for a long time. Gül, he didn´t say a single bad word about you. OR: Gül didn´t say a single bad thing about you (It isn´t clear without knowing the context) she (Gül) or he (Erdem - depending on the last sentence) just asked after you, said how much he missed you and they chatted about why you don´t bring Laura to stay with us. and you have totally misunderstood this situation
I agree -It isn´t clear without knowing the context. As we read the rest of the text we see that it must be " Gül, he didn´t say a single bad word about you".
How is konuşmak and konuş to have totally different meanings.
So if I add konuşuyor which word meaning am I looking at for past tense?
konuş
1. placing, arrangement. 2. geol. location. 3. mil. disposition, deployment.
konuşmak
1. to talk, speak. 2. to communicate. 3. to converse, chat, talk (with each other). 4. /ı or dan/ to discuss, talk about. 5. /la/ to be on friendly terms with; to be on speaking terms with. 6. colloq. (for something) to look sharp, be eye-catching.
Taffy , I see you in a total confusion. To make things clear for you I will try to explain to you the differences.
"Konuş" is the root of the verb "to talk "
"Konuşmak" is the infinitive form of the verb. In order to make a verb infinitive, the suffix -mek,-mak is used. (Konuş +mak)
"Konuşlanmak ": to deploy
"Konuşlandırmak" : (mil)to position, to emplace.
" Konuşlanmak and Konuşlandırmak " that are used as military terms ,have more or less same meaning.
Therefore, forget about the word "konuş " as there is not such an object or noun called "konuş"
Konuşuyorum is the simple present tense form of the verb "to talk" which means I am talking. Konuş(root of the verb) +uyor(suffix for present tense) +um(suffix for person "I" )
