Richard Head??

"A politically correct way to call someone a dickhead." (Thank you Lord for Urban Dictionary.) And I was wondering why it was not a Russian name...

My Try:

I only wanted a small loan for a short while because you are my friend. What is so bad about it? Ok, thank you nevertheless, undoubtedly there will be another solution. I didn´t believe you would think this way, don´t worry. But I want you to know this: I am not like you think. Because I am very sensitive in these matters.

If God had to choose between a man who sat in a cave, prayed and waited for inspiration and another man who studied physics to advance the rest of the humanity, God would have chosen the second one....

No, AlphaF, that is if you had to choose.

1. Peygamber daha sonra, 480 dirhemle Fatima´ya evinde lazim olacak çeyizlerin alınmasını sahabelerine emretti.

My Try for the first one, I wish someone would explain the second sentence (for me also).

Later the Prophet ordered the companions that a trousseau with household necessities worth 480 dirhams should be bought for Fatima.

When you put the past -dı suffix to this, I think we understand either;

1.) that the action has just finished.

2.) that you jave just realized that it happens or maybe it happened and finished.

Yes, that is what aspectual elements basically bring to the sentence: the speaker´s standpoint to the state of affairs. Thanks for pointing it out, caliptrix.

Tense and aspect go hand in hand in Turkish. That is why they are difficult.
