I see 2 possessive suffixes

I began to doubt when I saw twenty.

I recognized -(i)mtrak but the other derivation suffix you mentioned...I will have to find out.

I´ll give it a try (which doesn´t mean anyone else can´t).

I wish people would understand what a power one´s own words have, no matter how inadequate or unpoetic they sound.

Very good translation.

You mean you can prepare a "gangster´s roast" now? That´s how we call it but usually it is made of mutton.

Teşekkürler, gokuyum.

There are so many words for ´also´: ayrıca, de/da, bir de, hem de, bile. What is their right place in the sentence? (This could well make another topic as well.) At least de/da, bile come after the word in focus, the others before maybe. I wanted to point to the adjective açık only here but it seems that I failed.

                    hem de açık yerlerde bile

This is a bad one. I guess you have a lot of explaining to do after someone tries to translate this, si++.

Would it harm though if I asked a couple of things:

1. What is the -e- in these verb forms?

Quote:si++

Onulmaz dertlere düşesin de sürüm sürüm sürünesin alacakaranlık!

I suspected subjunctive but I am not sure if it is possible.

2. Could you mark the possessive suffixes in these last lines so that they wouldn´t mix with something else:

Quote:

Yasalar; hem var, hem yok...  Kimine var, kimine  yok... Kimi zaman var, kimi zaman yok.

İnsan haklan; hani varımsı da, yokumtrak...

Demokrasi; demokrasisimsi.

Varımtrak yokumsu... Batılımsı da doğulumtrak... İlerimsi de biraz gerimtrak...

Olmaz ol alacakaranlık! Yerin dibine bat da bir daha çıkma!

Gel ey aydınlık, gel!"

It might help a little bit...

Thread: AKP women urge no ban on hijab

My opinion is governments can´t tell how people should dress. If a believer woman thinks wearing a hijab is a divine order for her you can´t ban it without ignoring her human rights. Her freedom of choice what comes to working or studying shouldn´t be too much resticted because of her choice.

But. At the same time religious groups and parties should clearly express that they do not intend to make things difficult for those who think differently. And also at all times society should provide shelter and support for those adult women whose personal choice  - whatever it is  -  causes them a thread of violence from the side of their husbands, fathers and brothers.

Some work here. Would someone correct me, please.

Pit-roasted bear

Çukurda kızartmış ayı eti

-----------------------------

2 kg bear shoulder
4 dl crushed lingonberries
2 dl honey
1 tablespoon salt
2 sheets of greaseproof paper (50 cm wide)
2 sheets of strong foil (50 cm wide)

2 kilo ayı boynu
4 dl ezilmiş kırmızı yaban mersini
2 dl bal
1 yemek kaşığı tuz
2 tabaka yağ geçirmez kağıt (genişliği 50 cm)
2 tabaka dayanıklı folyo (genişliği 50 cm)

------------------------------------

Cut a 2 kg piece of shoulder, with 2–3cm of fat on the surface.Put the meat on the grease proof paper.  Spread honey, crushed lingonberries and salt on the meat.  Wrap up the meat with plenty of paper at the corners.  Rewrap in greaseproof paper and twice in foil. Make sure the package is as tight as possible, with paper spread evenly all around the meat.

------------------------------------

Dig a 40 cm deep pit in sandy clay soil and line it with bricks or regularly-shaped stones.  A deep hole retains heat well even in exposed places. Burn dry sticks from deciduous trees in the pit for a minimum of two hours. Conifer wood does not produce good embers. Poke well before adding more sticks to ensure adequate heat.

----------------------------------------

Remove the embers from the pit. Place the package in the pit on the grate surface. If there is empty space at the sides, push the bricks next to the package. Cover it with embers. Press he embers together tightly to prevent them from glowing. A layer of ashes should be formed on the surface.

Koru çukurdan çıkarınız. Ambalajı çukura ızgara üzerine koyunuz. Taraflarda boş yer varsa tuğlaları ambalajın yanına itiniz. Korla örtünüz. Parlamasını önlemek için koru iyice sıkıştırınız. Görünüşte kül tabakası düzenlenmeli.

--------------------------------------------

After half an hour, listen carefully. If you hear a rattling sound, the cooking process has begun and the meat will be ready after approximately three hours. If the weather is windy or rainy, it is advisable to cover the embers with a board.

Why did you add the suffix " dür " to gün ?

It often corresponds to the English expression ´for how long´. I am not sure though if it is necessary here. Someone help?
