If you believe that you have done everything you could for (one) love and you are alone in spite of that, feel relieved (relax). The one who left, has decided to go anyway and what you're doing won't be be good for anything but to create a little smile on his/her face. When you're tearing yourself to pieces, s/he's always ready to find excuses. Meaning that if you catch a bird with your mouth, you can even face a question like "why isn't that bird's wing white?"... Your job is a knife sharp at both ends. You're constantly on trial not for what you have done but for what you haven't done. In this court there are no mitigating circumstances. Your being good doesn't provide a reduction of your sentence (punishment). When you say "But I did this for you" s/he will reply "you didn't do that". And whatever you say you will surely be confronted with another claim. Don't be sad, you have lived love as it should be lived. You missed, you drank, you cried, you laughed, you sang songs, you thought, you wrote poems.
