I couldn't really understand 'ben hasta olmam' from my book, cos I figured it should be 'ben hasta değilim'. But after thinking again, I wrote these sentences to see if I understood the difference allright:

Ben hasta olmam
I don't become ill.

Ben hasta değilim
I'm not ill

Ben hasta olur muyum?
Do I become ill?

Ben hasta mıyım?
Am I ill?

Ben hasta olmaz mıyım?
Don't I become ill?

Ben hasta değil miyim?
Am I not ill?

Quoting deli:

. Hep burada bekliyorsun
you ALL wait here?
you wait here altogether?

But shouldn't it be 'bekliyorsunuz' then?

If you take your new phone with your own simcard to Türkiye, it won't be closed. You can still use it, but you have to pay very very high costs. For example.. I live in Holland and if I send a text to my friends in Holland, it costs me 8 cent. If I am in Turkey and send the same friend a text, I have to pay 85 cent. Not to mention what you will pay if you will use your phone to call!!

You should go to a phone company in your country and get the sim-lock off your phone. Then, when you are in Türkiye, you can simply buy a new simcard (those are really quite cheap) and put it in your own new phone, then you have your own phone with Turkish credit-phone rates

The parts of your article about how the ice cream gets strong and sticky sound more like Damla sakızlı icecream than Sahlep though!

Can someone tell me what kinda way of typing Turkish this is?

Is it like sms-slang or is it like an accent from a region?
