Quoting exception

what does "seni öptùm" mean?

i tried to use google translator and other translating pages, but nothing..or maybe its not written correctly?

thanks for your help!

I kiss you.

sen=you

öpmek=to kiss

seni (i because it´s the object of the verb)

öptüm (first person singular past tense often used as present tense)

Quoting hedef

I am a bit confused about these two words

değil  and değildir

I know değil means not but what and where does the other word means and used for?

please help

thanks in advance

I think değildir is used in official or formal text to emphasise it. The dir at the end means ´is´ so it´s like saying .............IS (definitely) NOT .......

Quoting Inscrutable

Sonunda onunlar gittiler! Finally they went! (referring to pests in the house!)

Thanks

Hehe-I thought you were talking about me.

Anyway I think if you use the plural onunlar you don´t have to use the plural gittiler.but just gitti

Maybe someone can say if this is correct or not.

In Erzurum is not much to do for tourists when you not speak Turkish.

Most of the people there only speak Turkish not any other language

Those are the places I like best!
