Thanks for your help.  I tend to say and write things in the order that I would say them in English.

Your help is much appreciated.

geliyorum is the first person singular=I am coming.

Hi

Hope you can help.  I want to write in Turkish ´come home quickly´ and the only thing I can come up with is ´ev geliyorum cabuk´ which I know isn´t right.

Please can you point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance

x

You need the imperative of the verb which is gel, gelin or geliniz depending how formal you want to be.

so-çabuk eve gel! would probably do it.

This reminded me of a similar one:

Mutton dressed as lamb - this comment may be made when a person sees an older woman trying (and failing) to look younger by wearing clothes/hairstyles/accessories meant for a much younger woman.

maybe with a dudu on her arm?
