You should use "singular" ---> kız    since  you are already using plural marking by saying "çoğu ".  Plus , stressing it  with "dır"   doesn´t sound good. [At least to me].

I am not gonna confuse you more, instead, I´ll give you some examples , hopefully you will work it out yourself ;

 Zaman makinesi adını verdikleri bir şey icat etmişler.

[ I heard that] They invented  something which they call it " time machine".

  ad vermek ---> to give a name

 adını vermek ---> to name something, to give a name something, to call something with a name

.............adını verdikleri ----> .....which they call it as "..........."

Kenan adını verdikleri..... >  Something [or somebody] which they call it [him] as "Kenan"

For example ;

Kenan adını verdikleri bir kedi ----> A cat which [who] they call it as "Kenan"

Kenan adını verdikleri bir postacı ---> A postman whom they call  "Kenan"

If we build a complete sentence ;

Bu mektubu Kenan adını verdikleri bir postacı getirdi. ---> A postman who is called Kenan, brought this letter.

A postman - who is called as Kenan- brought this letter.

It is ok to use " olmak üzere " ---> "Çoğu kız olmak üzere birçok Türk arkadaşım var."

however, in daily speech, Turks prefer to make is less formal saying it as ----> 

" Çoğu kız, birçok Türk arkadaşım var."

Another formal way would be  ; " Çoğunluğu kızlardan oluşan birçok Türk arkadaşım var."

  I agree. You can also say " Merhaba arkadaş, şu vidyoya bir göz atıver ".

China to broadcast ‘Magnificent Century’

‘Muhteşem Yüzyıl’ is ready to conquer the Chinese television. Efforts for dubbing and subtitles are almost complete and promotioal works started.

Turkish TV series “Muhteşem Yüzyıl” (Magnificent Century), which has so far reached 201 million viewers in 40 countries, will be broadcast in China. The number of its viewers is expected to be six times more and reach 1.2 million.

The famous series will be shown on Chinese state television CCTV. It is reported that CCTV has more than 1 billion viewers.

According to a written statement made by Turkey’s Beijing Promotion Office in Beijing, efforts for dubbing Chinese and subtitles are almost complete. Beijing Promotion Office Undersecretary İlknur Yiğit said they had been talking with Chinese officials for years in order to reach Chinese viewers.

“Finally we have succeeded. This is a big opportunity to promote Turkey to Chinese people of all sections and ages,” she said.

Yiğit said Chinese state television had never broadcasted a Turkish TV series or film, adding, “Chinese people have great interest in historical films. They find similarities between the Ottoman era and their dynasty. This is why we expect it will draw great attention in China. We paved the way for other Turkish TV series to be broadcast in China.”

Yiğit said interest in Turkey would increase with “Magnificent Century,” and continued, “Chinese television has a quota for foreign TV series and strict censorship. We have exceeded all these things. We will start promoting the series with CCTV. We will promote seraglio-themed tour packages including Istanbul and Topkapı Palace.”

Adam, they have tense characteristics as they they come from verbs.

Lets see some of them  ;

Past -dik [The verbal adjectives formed of -dik can carry both tenses though [past - present]

Kestiğin ekmek [ The bread which I cut [sliced]

Here, it is verbal adjective since it describes the noun [bread]

The action of slicing the bread was performed in the past. Therefore, it has tense which is past.

Kestiğin ekmeği masaya koy.

Put the bread you sliced on the table.

 * Sevdiğim arkadaş ---> This may cause confusion, since, this type of forms with -dik participle can indicate the present.

 The friend I love [like] ---> The friend I  love now , not only in the past. So we need the whole context to decide.

Ece sevdiğim bir arkadaştı.  ---> Ece was friend of mine whom I loved [liked].

From the sentence above, It is not very clear that if the speaker  still loves his friend or something else happened and he changed his mind about loving his friend.

Yürüyen adam  ---> A man who is walking

The action of  walking is happening at present moment.

Yoldan geçen adam ---> The man who is passing the street.

Yoldan geçen adamı tanıyor musun  ? ---> Do you know the man who is passing the street ?

The action of his passing the street is occuring at present time.

However, it may also indicate the past due to the context ;

Açılan fabrika

Geçen hafta açılan fabrikayı gördün mü ?

Have you seen the factory which was opened last week.

 the last part ;
