 Flexibility  in syntax in Turkish language  is amazing , In one sentence, you can shuffle almost all elements  and the new sentence can still make sense. For instance , the sentence below can be build in 16  different forms.

"Kadın karpuzu çocuğa yedirdi. "

Karpuzu kadın çocuğa  yedirdi.

Karpuzu  çocuğa kadın yedirdi.

Karpuzu çocuğa yedirdi kadın.

Çocuğa kadın karpuzu yedirdi.

Kadın çocuğa karpuzu yedirdi.

Kadın  karpuzu çocuğa yedirdi.

Kadın karpuzu yedirdi çocuğa.

Karpuzu yedirdi kadın çocuğa.

Yedirdi karpuzu kadın çocuğa.

Yedirdi kadın karpuzu cocuğa.

Alternative pluperfect forms

There are two other forms of pluperfect, both are colloquial.

1. This form is made by adding suffix   -idi to the past base.

Verb stem + past ending [ -di,dı,du,dü ] + idi [udu,üdü ] + Personal suffix 

- Baktı + idi + m ---> Baktıydım. [ one vowel is dropped & takes buffer "y" ]

 [ I had looked ]

  - Gitti + idi  --->  Gittiydi

 [ He/She had gone ]

  - Gördü + idi + k ---> Gördüydük  [ -idi changes into -üdü due to vowel harmony ]

  [ We had seen ]

   - Çalıştı + idi + n  ----> Çalıştıydın.

  [ You had worked [studied]

  2. This form is made by moving person between two suffixes.

 Verb stem + past ending + Personal suffix  +  di [du,dü ]

   Git     +  ti    +  m   +  di  ---> Gittimdi  [ I had gone ]

   Gör  +  dü  +  k  +  tü   ----> Gördüktü [ We had seen ]

   Bil   +  di   +  y + di  ---> Bildiydi [ He had known ]

   Kal  + dı + n + dı  ----> Kaldındı   [ You had stayed ]

* Note : Those are the forms that can be heard in colloqual speech.

 Therefore Its better to stick with the common form - mIştı.

Git + mişti + m ---> I had gone

Gör  + müştü + k  ---> We had seen

Bil   + mişti   ----> He had known

She  says ;

"O kibar park görevlisi  sayesinde  hayatım"

" By [the help of] that polite [helpful] park officer, my dear "

...  göre  : according to him/her

...   doğru  : towards the house

They all correct. You can hear people use all those ways for that phrase.

Forming Relative Clause

Köpek  eti  yedi.  ---> Subject is "Köpek "

The dog ate the meat.

Eti  yiyen  köpek ----> Head of Noun compound is " köpek ", Relative morpheme - En

The dog who ate the meat

Köpek eti yedi. ---> Object is "et"

The dog at the meat

Köpeğin yediği et  ---> Head of noun compound is "et" ,  Relative morpheme -Dık

The meat whıch the dog has eaten.

 * When the subject of the sentence becomes the head of Noun Compound, -EN is used.

* Elsewhere , -dIk is used.

Arkadaşım Türkçe biliyor. ---> Subject is " Arkadaşım "

Subject becomes the head of noun compound ---->

Türkçeyi bilen arkadaşım.

                    the head of NC

Arkadaşım Türkçe  biliyor. ---> Object  is  "Türkçe"

Object becomes head of noun compound ----->

Arkadaşımın  bildiği  Türkçe

                           head of Noun compound

The Turkish that my friend knows

Therefore,  Relative morpheme -dIk is used.

And also, you know what ? as if she is doing some job or tyding around up. If I play [computer] games or if I just sitting. she turns to me and says " It must feel great sitting and doing nothing " She says to me like this, and naturally I go mad when she says it.
