Geceler boyu okumuştum şiirleri, evire çevire, tekrar tekrar...

Evire çevire - in this context - was used as ´throughly, fully , carefully, with all its aspects´

Through the nights I [had] read the poems  [fully] with all its aspects, again and again........

"I would rather want to have a good man who truly loves me forever, than all the money in the world"

1. First  find out what type of sentence is it

There are more than one verbs and conjunctions [who] , this gives us clue that two sentences are conjoined. In other words, this is compound sentence.

First sentence -->"I would rather want to have a good man

conjunction --->  who

Second sentence --->truly loves me forever, than all the money in the world"

2. Find the Subject ----> Subject for the whole sentence is " I" = Ben

Ben, ................................................................................

3. Find the "main verb" [main verb of  a compound sentence]

want  = istemek

Ben.................................................................................isterim.

4. who truly loves me forever

beni sonsuza dek gerçekten [sadakatle] sevecek

5 .I would rather want to have a good man

iyi bir adama sahip olmayı isterim.

6.the last part ;

 than all the money in the world  ---> dünyadaki  tüm paradan daha çok

put them all together ;

Ben,  dünyadaki  tüm paradan daha çok, beni sonsuza dek gerçekten sevecek iyi bir adama sahip olmayı isterim.

or  more natural way would be ;

Ben,  dünyadaki  tüm paraya sahip olmaktansa  beni sonsuza dek gerçekten sevecek iyi bir adama sahip olmayı isterim.

"I would rather want to have a good man who truly loves me forever, than all the money in the world"

" what a wonderful picture, it makes me happy from the heart"!

"im very good thnx, i see that you speak with sofia a lot"

ne güzel resim, beni derinden [kalpten ] mutlu ediyor.

( i know that the last sentence is wrong becuz i dont know how to say "makes me"  ---> [eder or yapar]

derinden sounding more natural way to say in this context.

derinden = from deep down

====================================

cok iyiyim tesekkürler, sofia ile sık sık konuştuğunu  görüyorum.

konuştuğunu = that you speak

===================================

i cant translate when i dont know the proper grammar as u can see it doesnt work very well. thats why i ask here

its much more easier to translate someones sentence than writing it myself

You done good enough..Aferin. As you see where you go wrong, you will eventually learn. Proper grammar is important but getting used to translation as important.

Thank you very much. Just a one question: Can you please explain why you put ´olarak´ as my intended sentence was :

I write frequently but I am not a writer because I am not talented (my intended sentence)

I knew when I was writing the last sentence that it seemed incorrect but I wanted to use ´benzerliğim´ in a sentence. My intended sentence was:

My niece resembles me alot.

1. Düzenli = regular

   I just made it "regularly" , so I had to put "olarak" which functioned as "ly"

   I write regularly.........

However, if you wanted to say "frequently" we can say ;

  Sık sık yazarım.........

2. Benim [kız] yeğenim bana çok benzer. ---> My niece resembles me alot.

to resemble = benzemek

bana = to me

Nessah, dont get me wrong, but wouldnt it better if you would give your try on these sentences ? So that  teachers here would check your translation.  I am just saying this for your benefit. Since , learning how to catch fish is better than expecting ready fish all the time. Its up to you again. [ i know the first sentence might be difficult but i believe you could do second and third sentences.]

tunci, Sen adamın özünün başındaki eşarpta olmadığını bilecek kadar akıllısın. Bu iş için kaç para veriyorlar sana?

Alpha, o ikinci cümleni sil. Seviyeni düşürme. Kimse beni parayla satın alamaz. Hayatta tek tabancayım , kimseye minnet etmem.  Eşarp mevzusuna gelince, samimi ve kendi  isteğiyle örtünen kişilere saygı duymak zorundasın.

Why would/should "terrorists leaving Turkey" bother some Turks?

That is the question.

I don´t think anyone who loves this country will be bothered with "terrorists leaving Turkey". Who wouldn´t want it to happen ?

Bosna da benim tesbit ettiğim en göze batan değişiklik, başı türbanlı hanım sayısındaki müthiş artış. Hepimize hayırlı olsun !

Önemli olan insanın başının değil beyninin türbanlı olmaması. Yani şekle değil öze bakmak lazım.
