When we make the sentence a constituent (OBJECT) of the sentence frame, -DIK- participle must be used. We ask the ol- stem for help. The personal ending changes into a possessive suffix and the whole package is marked with accusative.

In Baltic languages we agglutinate also but many changes take place in the stems and on the borderlines of suffixes. Especially in Estonian language and South-West Finland dialects.

Very old kinship is very hard to prove. If there was common vocabulary it should be something reflecting a hunter-gatherer culture. Words like fish, root, head, dog, trap, maybe some pronouns.

The similarities in structure are fascinating, though. On the other hand, if there are three pawns like S, O and V in your game two players probably place them in the same order no matter if they have a connection or not.
