there's been times when you've made me smile, there's been times you've made me cry, there's been times you've made me angry and there's times you've made me happy....you've shown me how to love, a love that will never end, you know me in ways no one else does and i love being the way i am with you. i want to always be with you, through the good and the bad, through the happy and the sad! because you are so special....you're my man, my komando, my lover and my future!

You can't use -ca/-ce when you want to specify an amount of time though, eg. 'I worked there for five years'. In that case you have to use -dir, eg: Orada 5 yıllardır çalıştım

This is not a correct usage of -dir in this sentence. You should say,
Orada 5 yıl çalıştım.

But if you say,
Orada 5 yıldır çalışıyorum - I've been working there for 5 years

So... in your first sentence the action is completely finished, and in the second one it started 5 years ago but is still continuing, doğru mu?

Evet, doğru

To me this poem translated into English, please
Selam saygı hepinize
Gelmez yola gidiyorum
Ne şehire ne de köye
Gelmez yola gidiyorum

Gemi bekliyor limanda
Gideceğim bir ummanda
Gözüm kalmadı cihanda
Gelmez yola gidiyorum

Eşim dostum yavrularım
İşte benim sonbaharım
Veysel karanlık yollarım
Gelmez yola gidiyorum

My Webpage

One of the good poems of Aşık Veysel.
My attempt:

Salute, respect to everyone
I'm going to the way not coming
Neither a city nor a village
I'm going to the way not coming

Ship is waiting at the port
The place I will go is at the ocean
I am not to long for the world
I'm going to the way not coming

My wife/husband, my friends, my children
Here is my autumn
Veysel, my ways are dark
I'm going to the way not coming

This sentence hasn't got a verb. But if we try to translate it:

XXXX(verb, I think he will going to say I will xxx the people ...) who give weight a girl for being virgin, who love fancy woman for being beautiful, who sell friends for having money; if he is a king, his throne; if he is a mafia, his place...

If there would be a verb, it will be translated and understood easier.
